Neopedia : Tyrannian Jungle

Tyrannian Jungle Location: East of Terror Mountain
Population: 109,870 (24% Grarrl, 17% Chomby, 16% Uggaroo, 13% Uggsul, 10% JubJub, 20% Other)
Weather: Intense humid heat
Terrain: Dense rainforest
Neighbour: Tyrannian Plateau

Long ago, a powerful earthquake shook the Ice Caves and cracked the surface in two, leaving a dark crevasse right down its centre. Neopians came from all around to explore the split ice, later finding a tunnel leading down into the blackness... revealing Tyrannia!

Beautiful and deadly, the dense Tyrannian Jungle could lead even the most confident Grarrl off course. Chombies have munched a few paths into the jungle, but keeping your direction is almost impossible, even with a handy compass. The sunlight rarely permeates the thick prehistoric vegetation, which happens to be a botanist's paradise. Tyrannia is home to a huge variety of plant species, especially in the unexplored depths of the jungle.

Village life in the jungle

Deep within the jungle, however, lies the village of Tyrammet. Here Tyrannians have gathered to build huts, raise Petpets, and fish the day away. Because Tyrannia was isolated for so long from the outside world, they developed their own language, which they speak with pride. Using a few simple Tyrannian words and phrases may earn you their respect. Try these for starters: "Uggh-Ugga-Ugg" and "Aka aka umbuku". Those two are pretty much all you'll need to get around this place. Just be careful who you say them to, and be sure never to mix the two together because... well, it's not wise.

Tyranu Evavu - Taking its name from the Tyrannian words for "higher" and "lower," Tyranu Evavu has become all the rage with Neopians visiting the lost land of Tyrannia.
