A Tale Of The Clouds

Have you ever wondered how Neopian clouds started? Well, this story will tell you how. Long, long, long ago, in the historical times of Neopia, there were such things as Mist Faeries. They were really rare, and no one knew if they were real at all. For only the kind souls could see them. They were actually invisible to the bad neopets and people. They didn't bless pets, nor give neopoints. They brought the clouds!

It was said that in one really cold winter, there were no clouds. No clouds to keep the sun's heat in. The sun's rays would just bounce off the ground and back into the heavens. At that time, Neopians didn't have scarves, sweaters, or clothing. Everyone was cold and hungry.

The Mist Faeries took pity on them, so they did what no other Fearie did. They all joined together one cold snowy night. They made a circle, hand in hand. In the middle of them, stood the queen of all the Mist Faeries. She sang a soft sad tune. All of the faeries started glowing blue.

The Queen Mist Faerie disappeared and one cloud was in the sky. Soon, one by one, each and every single Mist Faerie disappeared to become clouds. The next morning, all the pets and owners were happy to see that it was a little warmer now! They had never seen clouds, for in the historical times of Neopia, there were no clouds at all!

Some pets have claimed to see a shimmer in the clouds. Or maybe even a Faerie wing! So now in Neopia, clouds are really Faeries. If your pet is kind or you are kind... maybe, just maybe, one of those Mist Faeries will come down and give your pet something special. The song of the Mist Faeries...you never know. Listen closely one day, maybe you'll here the clouds singing. I mean the Mist Faeries singing. So that's how clouds were formed in Neopia.
