"Hello, and welcome to the first show of Neopian
Cuisine! I am you host, Calianja the Acara. During this show, I will give
you the recipes to some of Neopia's best and favourite dishes! Today's
recipes include the favourite Neopian breakfast treat the Breakfast Croissant
and a great snack the Cheese Tortilla. Today, we're going to start off
by making the Cheese Tortilla. This recipe calls for:
1/2 cup Mozzarella Cheese
1/2 cup Monterey Jack Cheese
3 Flour Tortillas
Salt and Pepper to taste
First, you want to set your oven to 350 degrees F(176
degrees C). While your oven is heating up, place one flour tortilla on
a greased cookies sheet. On top of the first tortilla, place the Mozzarella
Cheese followed by another tortilla. On top of that tortilla, place the
Monterey Jack Cheese. Add the salt and pepper to taste. Place the third
tortilla on the top. When your oven is heated, place cookie sheet with
the cheese tortilla on it in the oven. Bake for 5 minutes or until cheese
is melted and the tortillas are golden brown. After this commercial break,
we'll get started on our Breakfast Croissant. We'll be right back!"
After Commercial Break....
"Welcome back everyone! So, what's your favourite breakfast
sandwich? The Breakfast Croissant. It's been proven that it's Neopia's
favourite breakfast! Here to show us the secret to making one of these
delectable sandwiches is Whisterson the Meerca. Hello Whisterson! Thanks
for being her today!"
"It's my pleasure, Calianja."
"So today you're going to show us how to make a Breakfast
Croissant, correct?"
"Yes, that is correct! Our ingredients for one croissant
are:
1 White or Wheat Croissant
2 Eggs
1/4 Cup of Milk
2 Slices of Bacon
Salt and Pepper to taste
First of all, cook your bacon on medium heat on a greased
skillet for about 15 minutes or until crispy. While your bacon is cooking,
crack your eggs and put them into a bowl with your milk. With a fork,
beat them vigorously. Pour them into a pan and scramble over medium heat
until light and fluffy. Chop your bacon up into little pieces and add
then to the eggs with the salt and pepper. Mix well. In the curve of your
croissant, Cut about 3/4 the way into the croissant. Put egg and bacon
mixture into the cut. If desired, you could put cheese, onions, peppers,
ham, or anything else you desire."
"Sounds lovely Whisterson! Well, that's all the time
we have for today folks, I'd like to thank our special guest Whisterson
