Scorchy Slots: For Slotheads or Slotted Pockets?

by Shalalah

Your parents always said gambling is bad and here's proof: on your first go at this game you gave it 2 NP and your reward is to have a flock of Korbats take twenty of your hard earned NP away from you?

What about that 'dear' friend of yours who not so long ago was bragging about how she won half a map and 2000 NP by pressing the button only twice?

Well dear NeoPet newbie, before you start saying that the game is not fair, I will point out that this is true. If everyone won a Faerie, map piece and NP from the game every time they played it would be great, right?

Not so! Imagine the deflation in prices! You could buy Faeries for 3 for 1000 NP and you could have a full map for a whistle. And the NP! Soon the whole of Neopia would be selling things such as bent forks for 5000 NP

But while this game only offers prizes to those who have the luck Faerie on their side, their are some ways to improve that luck slightly.

1. Save up 20 NP and spend it in one splurge on the game. Do this every week and you may even get to enjoy your few hours with this NP gobbler!

2. When you win by getting say 3 apples in a row and have the offer to hold, just tick below the apples. This way you can win this amount again! Same applies to any time you win anything and have the chance to hold! I did this with some apples once and won the same amount three times!

3. Don't tick a hold square unless you have a good reason. You have a better chance of winning next time and when on the next spin two bells turn up, you will always wonder if the one you held would have been one and the same, winning you eighty NP!

You might find other ways to make your game slightly easier--I don't know. But keep trying. I once went to the game determined to win with 800 NP I won about 20 and man was it boring. Another time I just had one quick spin and bingo I had won a map piece! So you never know unless you try. Good luck you Scorchy-Slotters!
