What is a

Rukis are one of many different species that exist in Neopia. As a general rule Rukis come from the Lost Desert. Their tough outer armour keeps them protected from the blazing sun and enables them to travel great distances, even in broad daylight.

As well as your basic four colours, Rukis come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes ranging from the cheerful Rainbow Ruki to the rather scary Mutant Ruki! In order to own one of these more unusual Rukis you will need to find a magical paint brush or potion.
