This is my beginner's tutorial for the most commonly asked questions in the help boards. Feel free to copy this page and use it as you will. - My friend has cancer. Can I have an item and give it to her to cheer her up?
- That has to be the most disgusting reason to ever have an item. If you have to ask that, you well deserve to be frozen.
- Why can't I send neomails?
- You most likely got neomail banned. Banning is caused by sending too many neomails out in one day, and banning is TNT's way of making sure you aren't doing anything against the rules.
- How do I delete my account?
- I can't wake up Turmaculus.
- The turmaculas is only awake one random hour each day, and you can only wake him once in that hour. Beware, he does eat petpets sometimes.
- Help! I have a sick pet.
- Go the the healing springs in Faerieland once every half hour until your pet is healed.
- Do the post this message on 10 message boards work?
- Do you really think it would be that easy to make NP? All it works for is getting you reported for spamming and being frozen.
- I have a Brain tree quest! (or, do you know when "...." died?)
- You must feed the esophager in the haunted woods twice to get the answer. All answers are random, therefore you must find out yourself, we can't help you.
- What time does the snowager sleep?
- He sleeps at 6-7 am, 2-3 pm, and 10-11 pm. These are all in NST.
- Am I fat?
- If you have to ask, then you probably are. How are we suppose to know? If you think you're fat, get off the computer and excercise.
- Where do I find avatars?
- Go to the petpage of swidler or avatar. They are very detailed and have the answers. If you are getting the Pack Rat avatar, pachebel's petpage has a detailed list over over 1300 items.
- Can i have "..." please?
- Stop begging. We all start out with the same amount of np. Play games, and don't beg us...all
it does is annoy us.
- How do you report someone?
- To report someone, go to the bottom of the screen and click on contact us". The first thing
on the list is the "reporting" option. Or, if it is on a message board, just click the "report message" link in their post.
- Neodating.
- Trying to find a b/f or g/f for yourself or your pets is not allowed on Neopets and is a reportable offence. Plus, it's just pathetic.
- I just adopted and now mail...
- The former owner has no right to that pet anymore. They knew the risks when they put the pet up for adoption, and the pound even says on the front page that the pound is not to be used for transfering pets. If the former owner keeps bothering you, block them from mailing you,
and report them for harassment. Congrats on the new pet.
- How to make np?

- When does the Rainbow fountain work?
- You must first complete a quest for the fountain faerie before the fountain will work. And no, you can't "get" a faerie quest, it is a random event.
- Items over 100k. (no buy)
- Items that are in stores and are priced for 100,000 and over are "gallery items" and cannot be bought from that store.(they are priced for that much cause the owner does not want to sell them, merely put them on display) If you want to purchase that item, go to the trading post and type the name of that item into the search box, and then bid accordingly.
- How do I make my pet happy?
- Feed him/her regularly, groom it, play with it. Easy way to keep it happy is to keep it in the Neolodge for 28 days at a time, only costs 140np.
- How do I make my pet more intelligent?
- Read it books, and sometimes, Coltzan's shrine can improve intelligence, along with the Genius negg. And, eventually, when Neoschools open...if they ever do...they might make your pet smarter...
- I just got a warning, will I get frozen?
- It depends on the severity of what you did to break the rules. Also, if you keep doing whatever it was that got you warned, you will most likely be frozen. Just behave.
- Is it really possible to get painted pets from the pound?
- Yes, it may take a while, but trust me, you can get them there.
- Who is TNT?
- TNT stands for theneopetsteam, who are the creators of this site. That is the only account they will ever contact you from.
- Where is the Wishing Well?
- First, go to Neopia central, then to the bazaar. it's in there and it looks like a little well:)
- How do I make my pet mutant? I can't find the paint brush.
- Well, for starters, there are no "mutant paint brushes". What you need is a transmogrification potion...for instance, a jubjub transmogrification potion will make a mutant jubjub. Check the trades or the shop wiz, or even auctions for the best price.
- How do I delete my guild?
- First, delete all the members of the guild. Then on the left hand side, where your admin rights are listed, there will be a delete guild option. Click it.
- Does the Wheel of Monotony ever stop?
- Wheel of Monotony, located in Tyrannia, does stop, but it might take a couple hours.
- Why did they get rid of the general chat?
- Cause the general chat was a writhing cesspit of vile and filth.
- How do I get my petpetpet attached?
- You have to have the pet with the petpet you want the petpetpet attached to active. Put a whole lot of items in your inventory *like 65* along with the petpetpet. Refresh alot. The petpetpet will eventually jump onto your petpet. Just keep in mind, if you ever take that petpet off that pet, your petpetpet will vanish forever.
- n00bs and newbies.
- Newbies are ok, they are just people who have a newer account, or have not played very long.
n00bs, on the other hand, are not ok. They are people who misbehave and act stupid, while in full knowledge that they are doing something they know they should not.
- What are red codestones for?
- They are for training higher level pets at the training school on Mystery Island.
- Neositting.
- Neositting is not allowed in accordance with the Neopets Terms and Conditions.
- How do I get a limited edition pet?
- Through either a morphing potion, a transmogrification potion, a magical toy/plushie, when Neopets releases more, or being lucky and finding one in the pound. Limited edition pets are: Chomby, Cybunny, Draik, Kiko, Jetsam, Koi, Krawk, Poogle, and Tonu.
- Can I resell the pieces of lab map once I have used them?
- No, you cannot, nor can you let another user borrow them once you have assembled them.
- What is spam?
- Use of the term "spam" was adopted from the Monty Python skit in which a group of Vikings sang "SPAM SPAM SPAM" in an increasing crescendo, drowning out other conversation. Hence, the analogy applied because UCE was drowning out normal discourse on the Internet. Hence, spam is traffic/posting, that is off topic/useless and pushes down Help related posts and valid content.
- What are some good games to earn np?
- Some good easy games to earn some np are Ultimate Bullseye, Meerca Chase, Turmac Roll, Whack a Kass, and Pyramids. Also, play the game of the day every day, because whether you are good at it or not, it gives double np.
