How to draw a Dark Faerie : Printable Version

Begin by drawing an almost circular shape for your body and another almost circular shape for your head. Make sure you head has a little bump in one side for the nose, like so.

Join the head and body together and add your faerie's torso.

In this pose you can only see one eye, draw it in. Then draw your Faerie's arms. In this pose they are crossed, but if it makes it easier you can draw them doing anything.

Draw your faerie's right hand (the one on top of the left arm) and add an ear and a scowling mouth. Give the body more shape by adding a small line for the chest bone.

Now draw a small curved line for your faerie's nose and chin. Add a little detail to your faerie's dress.

Draw a curved line halfway through your faerie's eye. This will be the eyelid. Go over this line a few times so it is thicker than your other lines. Underneath the eyelid draw in a curved line for your faerie's pupil. Add lips and fingers. Lastly draw on the tops of your faerie's long gloves.

Give your faerie some hair, it doesn't have to be in this style, as long as there is some hair :)

Now add the wings, like so.

Give your wings a little more detail.

Add an eyebrow and some details to your faerie's ear and chest.

Your drawing is now complete. Congratulations!

To make your faerie look more alive try adding colour and shading.
