How to draw a Kougra : Printable Version

Start off with two circles, one on top of each other. Make the top circle slightly smaller than the bottom one.

The top circle is going to be your Kougra's head. Draw an almost diamond shape around the top circle and add two circles to form ears. Underneath the lower circle draw two overlapping semi-circular shapes for paws. Make the right semi-circle slightly larger than the left.

Inside the lower circle draw another smaller circle. This will be your Kougra's shoulder blade. Now join your paws to the body, like so. Erase a few lines inside your Kougra's head and make the neck slightly thicker by adding two lines.

Remove a few lines in your Kougra's body to clear things up a little bit. You can't really see your Kougra's back legs in this positon, so draw a small curved line on the left hand side. On the right draw a circle with a small semi-circular paw shape underneath it. This will be the right back leg. Lastly draw on your Kougra's tail.

Erase a few extra lines and then you can start to add a little more detail. At the bottom of your Kougra's face draw a small circle. This will be the muzzle. Then draw one more curved line on the left hand side to complete the back leg. Inbetween your front paws, draw a small line.

Above the muzzle draw a nose shape and two small circles, one on either side of the nose. Add some detail to your Kougra's ears and draw small lines for toes on either paw. Then erase a few extra lines and your drawing should look very similar to this one.

First draw a triangular nose and your Kougra's mouth. Then draw a slightly larger circle around each eye (don't overlap the nose though). Add your Kougra's famous eye patches around each set of small circles. Don't forget to add a small tuft of hair on the to of the head. Then simply erase a few lines and your Kougra is almost complete.

In this step you will add a little more definition to your Kougra's eyes and mouth. Try to copy this picture as closely as possible.

Now draw on your Kougra's stripes and add a few lines inside the ear. Put a few dots on either side of your Kougra's muzzle to form freckles and your Kougra is finished.

Add some colour to your drawing if you want to really finish it off!
