How to draw a Krawk: Printable Version

Start by drawing a small circle towards the top of the page, this will become your Krawk's head.

Now draw a slightly larger circle below it. Join the two circles together by adding your Krawk's neck and lastly draw a curved line running down the middle of your Krawk's neck and through his belly, like so.

Your Krawk's legs start as two elongated circles joined to the bottom of the belly. Then draw on two flipper shapes (these will form your Krawk's feet).

Next you will need to draw on the arms and paws. The right hand one is almost hidden behind the body, just draw a triangular shape for the paw. Draw a cylinder shape for the other arm and finish it off with a circle at the end. Your picture should look very similar to this.

The next step is to add your Krawk's tail. It has a very distinctive shape, so it is probably easier for you to try and copy this image as closely as possible.

Now it is time to start working on the head. Draw a semi-circle on the left side of the top circle (just above where your neck meets the head). This will be your Krawk's cheek. Then draw the jaw shape coming out of the right side of the circle. Them add a curved 'm' shape for your Krawk's nose. Draw two little lines under each arch of your 'm' to create nostrils. Then draw a crooked smile, like so.

Start by drawing an almost semi-circular shape coming out of the top left hand side of your Krawk's head (this is your Krawk's eyebrow). Continue the line once you cross inside the circle for a short way. Begin drawing the eye underneath the eyebrow. The main eye shape is almost a triangle with curved edges. Inside the eye draw two circles, one inside the other. The right eye is almost hidden. Draw a slight bulge out of the right side of the head, just above the nose. Your picture should look very much like this one when you have finished. If it doesn't, don't despair, just go back and try again. It will get easier with practice :)

Adding a little bit of detail will really make your Krawk take shape. Draw horizontal lines across your Krawk's belly and draw small claws onto each paw. Lastly draw in the toes, a Krawk has three toes per foot and they are quite long and narrow.

Erase all the extra lines so you are left with a rather bald looking Krawk :)

Draw spiky hair on the head and continue it down the back. Then draw some small spots on your Krawk's leg. Congratulations, your Krawk is now complete!

To add some more life to your Krawk try colouring it in. You can also play around with the position of the pupil and shape of the mouth to give your Krawk different expressions.
