How to draw Swordsmaster Talek : Printable Version

Begin by drawing one circle that will become Talek's head and then two other circles that will become his body.

Now you need to draw a curved rectangle. This will become part of his snout. After that draw two circles for hands, a couple of lines to connect the body circles, and a couple of lines coming off of the body for legs.

Next we need to add more definition to his face. Draw two circles at the top of his body, these will be his shoulders. Now draw two curved lines above his hands. These will be the base of his swords. Next we need to draw a curved line at the bottom of the drawing. This will be part of his tail.

Now draw lots of curved lines coming off of Talek's head. These will be his spikes. We are also going to give Talek a mouth and a little bit of his arms. Draw another curve from his back out towards the front. This will be the other side of his tail. After you have done that draw two large curved lines up from the sword bases that we drew earlier. This is going to be part of the blade.

Now begin finishing off some of the things we have started. Draw curved lines on his head to finish off the spikes and also drawk another curved line up from the sword base to finish off the blade of his swords. Now we need to finished his arms and hands by adding some definition to the arms and adding claws to his hands. Now give him a face.

Your next step is going to be to give him some armour, and to also make his swords look like they are chipped. Once you have done that draw curved lines to connect the spikes on his head.

Now to make his armour look more impressive you need to update the handles of his swords so that they have some extra lines. After you do that draw three curved lines on his belly, this will be part of his armour. Now you need to give him a tounge and also nostrils. After you do that add a couple of lines to his helmet to make it look more interesting.

Next give him eyebrows. After you do that draw some long curvy lines from his upper lip. These will become his mustache. After you do that give his swords handles and put a couple of chips in his armour.

Talek is really starting to take shape. Now add some detail to the handles of the swords. After you do that draw some more curved lines off of his face. Two of these will be longer lines to finish off his mustache.

The swords are almost done, just add a few more lines. Also add still more curved lines coming off his face.

Now add some more detail to his face. Also don't forget those little lines down his chest.

Erase some of your extra lines and clean up your drawing.
