However, golden ivy leaves are probably best known for their ability to give those who eat them a sudden burst of prolonged energy, a benefit which has served many Tyrannians in a number of valuable ways.

The power of the Golden Ivy Leaves was discovered many, many moons ago. As the story goes, a group of hunters had gone out in search of some dinner when one of them, thinking that he had heard a Gargaraptor off in the distance, went after the fearsome creature. Well, the young Tyrannian got so caught up in chasing the Gargaraptor, that by the time the mighty monster had given him the slip, he found himself lost in the middle of the dense Tyrannian Jungle.

After days of wandering aimlessly in the jungle, the starving Tyrannian was desperate enough to eat anything. Noticing the sweet smell coming from the golden palms above him, he decided to give a few of the leaves a try. Much to his delight, the leaves not only filled his belly, but they also gave him the energy to continue on. Days later, when he finally staggered back to his village, the young Tyrannian told his friends about the magic leaves that had saved his life.
