After a certain escaping of a certain prisoner, a certain
baby Bruce that I would not like to talk about since it would be seriously humiliating,
Teghan upped security. Now we had some of the guards from the Sakhment Palace
helping with the guarding, but they were only rookies. Something about Vyssa saying
that, "It's not important."

Oh man, I thought. I hate Boochi… hate him, hate him, hate him… Is Boochi
even a boy? I pondered. Oh well, I continued thinking, nothing else to do. Lalala,
maybe I'll go do… something. Feh.
"Jade, I've been thinking…" began Teghan.
"Really? Wow," I responded.
"Shut up," she snapped. "Anyway, I was thinking…
maybe Mira, Kyle, and Rina should live with us?"
"NO," I simply, but firmly, said. "NO."
"Well, fine," she said. "It was just a thought…"
"A stupid one at that," I stated. I wasn't going
to have Rina live with me… no way. And no feuds between Mira and Kyle either,
that would be just annoying. "I'm going to the bazaar with Mira, I promised,"
I told her, and then left.
"Mira was waiting for me by the time I got there.
"Where were you?" she demanded. "I was waiting forever!"
"Shuddup," I said. "You aren't the boss of me,
and besides, Teghan made me late."
"I'm so sure."
"She did!"
"Right…"
"Whatever," I was frustrated. "Hey," I said,
wanting to get back at her, "Why don't you go down to the old, abandoned chocolate
factory? Or are you too scared?" I taunted.
"Oh, I'm not too scared, but you definitely
are," she retorted.
"That's it. Let's go!" I grabbed her arm and
pulled her to the old, abandoned chocolate factory.
We brushed aside cobwebs as we entered. Both
of us were nervous, but we wouldn't show it. We found an old flight of stairs,
and at the top we found the Jelly Chia.
"Jade," Mira whispered, flexing her Gelert ears,
"Isn't the Jelly Chia considered evil?"
"Ya… gotcha!" I said. I used my ear stalks,
and pushed my leaf-like ears onto the top floor. I then bent my ear stalks,
jumped, and I zipped up to the top floor.
Mira flew up beside me. "Jade! We were supposed
to make a plan!"
But I was in a hyper mood and that time. I poked
the Jelly Chia, and then backed up to a wall, and ran straight into him, but
I crashed into the wall. I repeated this process for a really long time. It
sounded like, "Fwee! Wahee… fuuuuuuun! Ouchies. Fwee! Wahee… fuuuuuuun! Ouchies.
Fwee! Wahee… fuuuuuuun! Ouchies."
Finally, after I-don't-know-how-long-because-I-was-having-so-much-fun,
the Jelly Chia ducked and I crashed into the other wall. "Double ouchies…" I
said in pain.
Meanwhile, Mora and the Jelly Chia had been
talking. "Can I call you J.C.?" asked Mira. "It's way shorter than Jelly Chia."
"Sure, whatever," answer J.C.
"So…" began Mira, and then she explained our
whole plan, about being the Flames that is. She told our plan to the enemy!
Is that stupid or what?
"Well," said J.C., "It's dangerous. Too dangerous
for some ordinary pets… I'll help. Whenever needed."
"What?" I asked, after losing my pain. "What?
Aren't you evil?"
"No… I'm labeled evil," replied J.C. He walked
over to a box and pulled out two, rectangular objects. He returned to us, and
handed one to us. "This is called a cell-phone. Very few Neopians or Neopets
know about it. Here, this is my number, and this is yours. Now, let me show
you the rest…" so J.C. taught us about the cell-phone. "Got it?"
"Yep," both of us answered. "We'll call you
if we need help! Bye!"
J.C. waved as we left. We went outside to find
darkness. "Jade," Mira said, "Control your hyper-ness. That was way too long."
"Well, sorry," I said as we walked separate
ways, the cell-phone in my silver-flamed paw. "Hey, Mira… what's J.C.'s number
again?"
"Hmm… I forgot. Call J.C. and ask," she responded.
"Okay!" I dialed J.C.'s and heard it ring
J.C. answered. "Hello?"
"Ya, hi J.C. What's your phone number again?
Both me and Mira forgot."
"Well, you're talking to me, aren't you?" J.C.
said, confused.
"Oh."
"Bye." J.C. hung up.
