To Beat the Jellies

by patrickboyd

Jelly Processing Plant is a long, hand-eye coordination dependent game that can win you a max of 1000 NP a game. It takes around 10 minutes or less to get that max 1000 NP, but if you want to beat the game, you must get the J.I.S.T. of it- Jellies, Ice-cream, Skeith, and Timing. Another important factor we will talk about, are the Bonuses.

Jellies
The jellies are the main part of the game, each of them sorted giving you 1 point to your score. DO NOT screw around with these and the conveyor belt (we will talk about this later); directly take them off of the belt and put the jellies in their assorted bin. As you play the game more, your fingers will get accustomed to how many times you move over to get to the right bin.

Ice-cream
The second big part of the game is the Ice-Cream Cones. These you (usually) want to leave on the conveyor belt to get eaten by the Skeith. Once they are eaten, the color of the ice-cream will appear in one of the spots in the upper left hand corner. If you get a good combo of 4 of the cones, you will get a bonus (we'll talk about this later). The bonus is given to you after you drop in your next jelly.

Skeith
The only thing you need to be wary about the Skeith is his/her fire breath, because it can freeze you up.

Timing
There isn't really much to say on timing, it just made the abbrieviation at the top better. Instead, we will talk about the conveyor belt. No, not the one you pick jellies up off of, the other part of it. The part at the top. This will mainly be used only with Ice-Cream Cones. To get the good combos that give you better bonuses, you might have to use this conveyor belt (Its other use is to see what will come off the belt next). If you don't want the Skeith to eat a yellow cone, for example, pick it up, hit left on the keyboard once, and hit the spacebar. the buzz will drop the cone onto the conveyor belt, and the cone will later appear at the bottom again.
P.S.-This may have to be done repeatedly to get the bonus you want.

Bonuses
Earlier I said that good combos will give you bonuses that get added to your score. This is basically how it goes:
4 one color- 15 points (Skeith farts)
3 one color, 1 another color- 10 points (Skieth farts)
2 one color, 2 another color- 5 points (Skeith farts)
2 one color, 1 another, and the last cone the last color- 0 points (Skeith breathes fire; if you get hit by it, you will pause for a short time)

To keep track of what colors you have, look in the upper left hand corner to see what colors have already been eaten.

Once your score (displayed up top along with how many jellies left to sort, and what round your on) hits 500+, you might as well end it there, since your score is doubled to determine how much NP you get, and 1000 is the limit, there is no use going past 500. The only reason you should is if you are trying to get a high score.

Hope my guide helps. May high scores come to you, and watch out for this game to show up in the upcoming Jelly World....
