Sabrina's Wish: Part One by _happyhoppy_ | |
The dark trees, consumed in shadows, swayed in the eerie wind and the dead leafs
glided through the air softly under the light of the majestic full moon. It was
a most uncomfortably spooky night there on Dark Faerie Path. It was still and
quiet, with hardly any sound around but the low, deep howls of the wind. In fact,
everyone was sleeping peacefully; all except...
A little light flickered across the street. Over across the dead trees and
creek, in the tallest tower of the Creekwood Manor, a window shimmered a golden
yellow. Someone was out of bed.
The people living around the Creekwood Manor thought it was the most horrible,
spooky, frightening home in all of Faerieland, and indeed they were right. The
place was as sweet as a poisonous lollipop. It was surprising enough that they
gave the place a name, though the people around referred to the place as "it".
Well anyways, "it" was the home of many of the evilest faeries in the past.
The place leaked with sorrow, hate and despair. It was a stone castle with three
towers, filled with torchure chambers, secret passageways and haunted labs.
The garden around it was filled with dead trees, dragonbuds and statues that
seemed to move around. For 400 years the place was abandoned... and now, a family
had just moved in.
The neighours were shocked someone had actually wanted to live there. The
place is not exactly a Usuki dreamhouse, but the family moving in, The Kobats,
weren't interior decorators. There was Mrs.and Mr.Korbat, and their only daughter
Sabrina. They were all Dark Faeries, and that did not go well with the public.
You see, Dark Faeries were thought of as evil. And that's not exactly true.
Sure, Dark Faeries have wicked blood in them, but if you get on their good side,
you'll see that they're the nicest people you'll ever meet. Although, you can't
blame the people for thinking lowly of them. Their complexion isn't exactly
charming. They were all as pale as Snow Faeries, so gastly white, you'd say
they'd never gotten a ray of sun their whole life. They had fangs and wore dark
clothing. A rumor had already begun about them having dark powers.
Well, every midnight Sabrina the Korbat would go to her bedroom balcony, and
wish on a star that her life would be more exciting. But this night was different;
this night it worked....
