In the world of Neopia, anything is possible. Including vegetarian Neopets.
That's where I come in. I will walk you through the art of owning one of these
vegetarian Neopets. No, its not easy, but it's a fun experience!
The Meals
Breakfast
As many people know, breakfast is often considered the most important meal of
the day! So do not starve your pets in the morning! There are plenty of products
out there great for veggie loving pets! Try these: Seaweed Bacon, Spinach and
Asparagus Pasty, Veggie Sausage, or Sushi Rolls Of course your Neopets will
also enjoy things like Neo Crunch Cereal and a Sticky Stack.
Lunch/Supper
There are many, many alternatives to meat loving meals in Neopia for lunch/supper
time. I will name my Neopets' personal favourites. Veggie Chicken, Veggie Dog,
Vegetarian Sea Taco, Vegetarian Cheeseburger, Meatless Meatballs, Coral Beef,
Garden Fresh Pizza, and Vegetarian Pizza Block
Snacks
Mmmm!!! Snacks! They're all delicious, but some the veggie way is more nutritious!
Try these out when it comes to snacks: Golden Carrot, Vegan Cheese, Organic
Olives, Cheese Cookies, and of course, Asparagus
Reading
Vegetarians can be picky when it comes to reading, it's the truth! A few I
suggest you to read to your Neopet are: Kau Pies, The Green Book, Gathering
Food Effectively, and Green Thumb Keep in mind that these are just a few suggestions.
There are plenty of other good reading materials out there just waiting to be
read by a vegetarian Neopet! Never give up hope while searching for something
suitable to read to your pet.
Play Time
Toys
So many toys to choose from! Almost any toy will do. A toy is a toy! From my
personal experience though, a Neonip Critter (which is filled with herbs) seems
to be a fun and healthy toy for all Neopets. Also, if your pet was planning
on making a garden to fulfil their special eating needs, I suggest you give
them a Cheery Blossom, which will help them learn the responsibility of caring
for a plant.
Games
Like toys, there isn't much to be picky with in the Games category. One game
I suggest you avoid however, is Cool Kids Stack-A-Burger, a game all about creating
a meaty hamburger, not many vegetarians find this game interesting, some even
find it disturbing. Nearly all other games will work well, unless your pet is
sensitive to eggs/neggs/shooting games you should be all right with all the
rest of the wide variety of games out there.
Shopping
Where do you get all the right stuff for your unique pet? I strongly recommend
the Health Food shop, Gardening Supplies, and the Tropical Foods shop!
