FAERIELAND - Faerie
Cloud Racers is a game, which involved mainly two things fortune and
consistency as I've found out after about 2-3 weeks of playing.
In Faerie Cloud Racer, you attempt to head your challenger off with your broad
smoky trails. There are eight characters to choose from The Battle Faerie, The
Dark Faerie, The Fire Faerie, The Space Faerie, Buzzer, Miamouse, Floud and
Meekins.
You use the arrow keys to steer the racer around the clouds. The objective
of the game is to stay on your racer for as long as possible. However they are
other factors to take into consideration such as you cannot hit your opponent,
you try not to hit either the walls or the two smoky trails left by either racer.
There are three levels to choose from Easy, Medium or Hard. In the easy level
you cannot earn any Neopoints, in the medium level you can earn 25 points for
each round win plus the round bonus which is for how long you last on the racer,
in the hard level you get 50 points for each round win plus the round bonus.
For every points you get in the game is equivalent to one Neopoint. You can
also play Two Player on this game but you cannot earn any Neopoints though.
So the game is pretty straightforward. Navigate your racer around the clouds
and try not to hit the walls, your opponents or the two smoky trails.
For those avid trophy collectors such as me, you have to rely on luck and consistency
if you want to get a high-score. After finishing the hard level I only managed
to get 500. However I needed 616 to get a Bronze Trophy. This mean that you
have to really rely on lasting longer on your racer in order to get a higher
bonus so you can get a higher score.
Tips for Beginners (scores between 0-375): Always try to trap your opponents
if u can at start or limit the amount of space that your opponent has to work
with. Tips for Experts (scores between 375-575): You should begin with going
up at the start and then right and then down and block any passage between you
and opponent because now you will have more space and maybe just enough space
for you to obtain a good round bonus. If you got a score over 575 you've done
pretty much what you can for now. You have consistency but you're just not getting
the round bonuses, which you want.
I hope with these tips and strategy you can get a higher score at Faerie Cloud
Racers and achieve what I haven't done which is to get a Bronze Trophy at it. |
