Survival : The Story of a Moehog that got lost on the way to Neopia!
Chapter 2 : Battles and Vending Machines
As Moehog wandered around, completely lost, it grew dark. Moehog decided to try and get some sleep tonight and maybe the others would find him in the morning, or vice versa. I believe it was around quarter past two in the morning when he woke up with the chills. He was shivering so loudly that anyone within ten miles that happened to be awake could hear him. He was covered from head to toe with goosebumps and, if you could believe it, his goosebumps had goosebumps. He felt for some reason that some bizarre creature was in his presence.
He thought it silly for a second but he then realized that he could hear a faint whisper calling "Fame is not the right way to go. Stay with your friends and you will stay alive. Now I will kill someone so they can feel the wrath I felt!"
He could make out the outline of a blumaroo and he realized that this was probably the blumaroo named Bache that was in the Neopian Chronicles one time for being attacked by a skeith. He died a terrible death and was believed to have wandered off for fame.
Moehog looked at the ghost and tried to make it look like something behind the ghost had caught his eye. The ghost turned around and Moehog ran as fast as his skinny legs could carry him. Moehog turned around for a second to see if the ghost was in sight and he stumbled over a boulder.
Moehog looked at the boulder and found it was fake. Luckily, Moehog had a lot of magical powers and he used them to change the rock into it's original state. Moehog anxiously awaited for the magic to complete and when it did, Moehog found, lying at his feet, a rainbow gun. He picked it up, thought for a second if there was some other non-fighting way to solve this, then he thought "Hey, the ghost is already dead so it's not so bad."
Just then the ghost came into sight. Moehog pressed the trigger of the rainbow gun and the sight was so amazing that it is almost impossible to explain. The blue sky was covered in rainbows and it started raining. It was raining stars. The stars burned the ghost and strangely, Moehog wasn't hurt at all.
After the ghost had perished, Moehog continued on with only 70 miles to go.
He looked down
and he saw a star from the storm. It then turned into an Ultra Nerkmid. When
Moehog awoke the next morning from his five minute slumber, if you would call
it a slumber, he decided to play with his Ultra Nerkmid. He tossed it up in
the air and tried to play Jackleball. It was impossible without a ball and the
Dark Faerie had broke his only ball.
Meanwhile, halfway across the desert-like story-setting a group of clever and greedy aishas were thinking of a way to get some Nerkmids. They were very rich so they decided to buy a lot of items and have people trade in their nerkmids for items. The aishas would then destroy about 90% of them and sell the remaining 10% to the neopians for a lot of money. They built their vending machine and then started to Neopia.
Now, back to our main character, Moehog, who has decided that he should go ahead and try to get to Neopia. Many miles after his decision, he bumped into the alien aishas.
"Hi, my name is Stilkies. I see that you have an Ultra Nerkmid. Why don't you use it on our machine? You put it in and you get a prize." Stilkies was a blue aisha and he looked quite small.
Moehog thought that maybe he could get a ball if he used it so without further hesitation he replied "okay!" Moehog put the nerkmid in, pulled some switches, pressed some buttons, and out popped a shimmering rainbow negg that almost blinded Moehog from it's light and 114 NP. He didn't want the Negg so he asked them if he could trade it for a ball.
"Nope, what you get is what you get, unless, you have some more nerkmids," Stilkies beamed at Moehog.
"Sorry," came Moehog in a frightened voice, "I don't have anymore." Moehog might not have wanted it now but in the next chapter, he will need it.
Chapter 3 : Injuries and Trials Moehog has 60 miles to go till Neopia.
After several hours of walking Moehog collapsed. It happened in the oddest way, his legs started to tremble and he went down on his knees. His right side all of the sudden felt heavier than his left and he fell on his right side. Then he just layed there, as if he was paralyzed.
Many miles away, Robby Rob, the best robber in Neopia, was running around. He could shoot bullets out of his ear, could carry NP with his mouth open and he knew that a creature called Moehog was running around with a rare Rainbow Negg!
He approached Moehog lying helplessly on the ground. "Give me the rainbow Negg!"
"No." he replied sobbing.
"Hand it over."
Moehog handed Rob the Rainbow negg. His last food item. He was sure to starve. Moehog got up and tried to walk, after Rob had left. He walked a little while and he came up to a sign reading NEOPIA - 50 MILES! Under that was an ad reading "Apple Orchard! Stock Up on Food! Just 2 miles!" Moehog started walking.
He still had some NP from the Nerkmid and decided to get some apples.
I'm guessing that Moehog got rabies or is dying of hunger because he is charging into the stands holding the food. One stand was selling banana splits (strangely) and Moehog stuffed his nose into the ice cream. When he picked up his nose, his bowl was stuck to it. He flung the bowl off his nose and the bowl along with some mixture containing liquid banana and melted ice cream flew across the marketplace and at the feet of several skeiths wearing the letters POP on their vest.
Moehog laughed.
"Do you think this is funny?" asked one of the POP officers.
"It stands for Police Organizational Parties. This is the apple orchard's charity sale that you've crashed. You are in a lot of trouble." The officer screamed.
Moehog examined himself from head to toe and wished that his mom was here, or someone whose arms he could just run up to and start crying. He had done a terrible thing.
Moehog was taken in a truck several miles away from the marketplace and into a court room. His crimes were long and included theft, a big mess, destroyed property and, strangely, insulting a POP officer.
Moehog burst out in the middle of the readings "I have some Neopoints."
"Okay. We can end the court right now if you can pay your fee of 2682 NP," beamed the POP judge.
Moehog did not have nearly enough so he let the readings continue. Looking closely at Moehog you would have seen a tear trickle down Moehog's face and onto the desk. Maybe that was why he suddenly burst out, "I'm sorry!" and the whole court room disappeared.
When Moehog blinked his eyes he found hinself standing in front of a sign that read "NEOPIA - 40 MILES."
Chapter 4 : Conclusion
Glomp walked over to the sign and read it aloud to the rest of the group (Moehog is not included in this group. He got lost and you heard of his adventures in the previous chapter) "We are 50 miles from Neopia but we are near a market so we can stop and get food," he told the rest of the group.
After a lot of walking, they arrived at the market. Glomp went ahead to one of the booths and the others stayed behind. Right when he walked inside a POP officer yelled, "There he is, that's the crazed maniac!"
Before the fearless leader of the tribe could do anything, the POP officer had pulled the trigger of his gun. Luckily, and very heroically, Jussun, Moehog's girlfiend, jumped in front of Glomp. She was hit in the leg and she fell.
The skeith yelled,. "That should teach you to interfere with POP's work. Now onto you, you dirty crook."
As the skeith advanced towards the tribal leader, Glomp's teeth were chattering and every part of his body was shaking.
Due to Jussun's heroism and bravery, she was appointed their leader. She announced that when the group arrived at Neopia, they would be known as the Glomps. Although Jussun had a lot of responsibility being the new leader, she still had a place in her heart for sweet loveable Moehog.
Sometimes she would go into the woods claiming to be looking to see if any other creatures were among them when she was secretly looking for Moehog.
Not to much longer, they found a sign that said "Neopia - 30 miles." They decided to head to Neopia before anything else happened. Later on, the Glomps finally reached Neopia and when they got to the gate a muddy figure that was shaped like them was waiting at the gate. By golly, it's Glomp!
A big creature walked out. "Okay, what's your species name?" asked the creature.
Jussun thought for a moment about her beloved boyfriend Moehog. Then she replied "We call ourselves the Moehog, in honor of a past member of our group."
The creature replied sounding bored "Wow that's great. Now go inside and enjoy yourselves!"
The Moehogs all went and led very productive lives.
The End!
