Adopt or Create?

by neolily123

Most people prefer to create new ones because they'll get NP for it. Here's my idea:

1. When you create a new account. Don't create a pet first. Go and play lots of games to earn NP. You can even sign up with sponsors. When you think you had enough NP, go and buy lots of food and Battledome items (since the Battledome is around the corner). Then, go ahead and create a NeoPet. Be careful for what pet you choose. Don't simply choose just anyone. You might want leave it at the pound later. When you created your pet, you'll get 50 NP.

Go to the pound and adopt a suitable pet with the 50 NP. After that, you won't have to worry even if you have less NP now because you can earn it later and now you can feed your pet and equip it with Battledome items. I bet it'll be the best NeoPet in the world if you treat it nicely.

2. Here's another idea. When you sign up for a new account you'll get 500 NP. Then, you can sign up with Speedy Click and you'll get another 500 NP. 1000 NP is a really good start. Go to the pound and adopt a skilled pet. There could be lots of them because most people abandoned them because they're sick of them or something. After that, you won't have to bother about training it right from the start. These are my ideas so far. I might have more.

And last but not least, I have the most important thing to say: It doesn't matter if your pet is unskilled at first. As long as you love it and train it, it'll be the perfect pet in no time at all. It's better to adopt pets than creating them. You'll feel happy for doing the right thing. Those pets are innocent and they just got dumped like that. Even if you still don't want to adopt any of them, take a visit to the pound. You'll see all the pets in there moaning and crying hoping that someone would come and adopt them. Not even one of them would give a smile. So, go ahead and adopt them

NOTE: If you have a skilled pet that turned out to be ugly, don't leave it at the pound! If you really hate it, just go to the messageboard and put an offer for the pet. Someone will surely buy it. That's all for now. Sorry if you think this is boring. Neomail if you like this article (it's my first).
