I read the Neopian Times as soon as each new issue comes out and I have
noticed a plethora of articles on Poor vs. Rich and other such titles.
I have decided to contribute my 2 NP and give a few tips on what I did
to become an upper middle class Neopian.
1. At one point I had two accounts with a total of seven pets. I recently
got three of my pets adopted by some friends and combined my remaining
pets and all my stuff onto just one name, which helps a bunch because
now I don't have so many pets to feed and entertain.
2. In a period when I was unable to access the Internet for several
months, my pets had to stay in the Neolodge, which is a wonderful tool.
Owners with very little money can put their pets in the lodge, which feeds
and cares for pets for only a few NP per day. You can still play with
your pets whenever you want, and they are very happy and have full tummies.
The money which is saved on buying food can be used for other things.
3. As everyone else is saying, PLAY THE GAMES!!! Kiko Match, Techo Says,
and Kacheek Seek are easy, fast, free ways to make money. By playing just
these three games for less than an hour per day, you can make at least
1000 NP
4. Try questing for the Underwater Kitchen. The chef there usually gives
great rewards like pet pets, lots of NP, or very rare food and items.
The food items she asks for are usually not hard or expensive to get,
and if they are, you can just wait the quest out and try again.
5. Take advantage of the offers provided by NeoPets! Aren't your pets
worth a little junk mail??? Sign up with all the sponsors you can! For
the so called "Rich" owners out there, please, be good citizens! Donate
to the money tree and use good judgment when pricing items in your shops.
I am a shop owner, size 21, called Cemetery Faerie Cove. I charge decent
prices and still turn plenty of profit, especially on food items. I am
not modest, my bank account reads 121873 NP right now, and I get 38 NP
per day in interest on my account. I've been playing since the end of
June. I know people who are doing even better than me and have not been
playing long at all.
This about this: If you put as much energy into complaining how poor
you are, imagine how many NP you would have if you actually played the
game!
