Kau Korrall: Possibly the Greatest Game in Neopia. What is it?

by JellicleCAT6

If you've decided to read this article, you're probably saying one of three things. 1: What's Kau Korrall? 2: Cool game. But I can't get past round three!, or 3: The Best Game ever. I wonder what we have to say here? Well, I have a couple of things to say. What Kau Korrall is, how to get good at it, and raking in the NP.

Kau Korrall is one of the most recent additions to the Neopian Gameroom. The idea is to herd the Kaus into the barn. The interface (apologies to the makers of the game!) is a bit, well, goofy. However, I'll tell you how to get past it later on. If you can play it, you'll be raking in 2500-3000 NP per day. It is a Macromedia Flash game, and Neopoints can only be earned three times per day. However, in one game, I've pulled in about 950 NP. Certainly not on the Hi-Scores, but what else is new? If you've only played Kau Korrall once or twice, you've probably said, "I can't figure this out! The Kaus move here when I'm there, even though I'm trying to move them over there somewhere, HELP!" and maybe given up. Well, don't. If you do, you're missing a 2000+NP per day opportunity.

Take my advice: practice. Play three or four games, don't send your score in, just practice. You're not gonna reach round 20 NP on your first try! I took many tries to get it figured out. Once you do, I've said it many times, say "Hi!" to some MONEY! Practice, practice, practice makes perfect. Well, near-perfect, "perfect" enough. For some more NP, take heed of the following advice. Don't just get the minimum for the round, lose all the rest of the Kaus, and move on. You get 1 NP per Kau, plus time bonuses (I have no idea what they are, please tell us, masters of Neopia).

Sure, leaving one Kau on the first round is only 1 NP, you say. But play twenty rounds per game. Play three times per day. You're losing 300 NP here, folks! Go for more money. If the timer's beeping at ya, you've got less than ten seconds. Lose the rest of the Kaus (literally), if you have the minimum required. But if time's on your side (for the second or so), get the extra 5 NP. It's worth it.
