Battledome Fever: How the Poor Should Get Ready

by dawn_dewdrops

With the Battledome coming, the main focus on many Neopian minds is, "Is my pet ready?" The message boards are saying: "My pet needs challengers in the Battledome," or "Am I ready?" Many guilds are named after the battledome. Everyone's purchasing faeries and magic items. They're all looking for snowballs. Shop owners are happy, and so are the richer folks, but what about those who can't afford any of this stuff?

The thing on their minds are, "My pet needs Battledome items!" So how are they going to get them? Well, begging for items in the message boards isn't doing them any good. Maybe they should try something else. The rich Neopians worked for their Neopoints and items, so they should, too. The best way to earn NP is to play games. Kiko Match is perhaps the simplest game, and it pays off a lot, too. Pokemon Match works similarly, it's just a bit harder. Techo Says and Grinch Says both work the same way, and they aren't very hard either. The Codestones game is also one that pays off a lot.

If you save Neopoints, you can purchase Battledome items. Another way is to win the items. Gormball gives items as prizes, often rare ones. Snow Wars gives snowballs as items. The further you get, the better the snowballs get. A third way to prepare your pet is to wander around the shops or games. Soon, you'll likely find Codestones or faeries.

Now, how can those help you? Well, the faeries can bless your pet with abilities that will help you on your quest. The Codestones you can use to train your pets in the Mystery Island Training school. You might also find other rare things that you can trade for battle items. The last way, which is perhaps the best way, is to do quests for the Esophagor and/or the cook. The cook normally blesses your pet, and sometimes gives you Neopoints. Normally, he gives you enough to buy battle items or faeries or even Codestones! The Esophagor gives rare items normally. If it's not a battledome item, you could always trade for one, and if you need a totem to get to the trading post and/or the training school, you can get an almost real Aisha totem for a little bit over 200 NP. As I said, you can get that much in just one game of Kiko Match. In conclusion, there are many ways for the poor to get Battledome items, so they don't have to spend their time begging on the message boards. They don't really need the donations, for there are so many ways to get them. Good Luck!
