It was November 13. He had two days to prepare for the battle on November
15. He thought, and thought, but nothing came to his mind. It was...just...blank.
He sat down and concentrated his mind. How could he battle the Lupe and
win? He knew the Lupe wouldn't have challenged him if he didn't think
he could win.
After a while in thought, he had decided that he needed all the abilities
to win. All 52. He knew his owner could not afford to level him up AND
give him 10 abilities. He would have to catch the faeries. He would be
able to do it alone. He needed help. He certainly would not ask Shutup311.
He would ask his other best friend. Die311.
He went to Die311's house. He knocked. A green Kacheek came to the door.
It was Die311. He asked Die311 to help him, and told him the whole story,
beginning when he bumped Raivaii in the store. When he finished, it was
8:00 AM in the morning. He had 48 Hours.
After Die311 asked his owner, Skar, if he could help SkarIX, they developed
a plan. A system. An invention.
They only needed to find the right place. They got a Map from Die311's
owner, and set off. It so happened there was a faerie field not far from
here. 3 miles. It was surrounded by woods and was known for the extraordinary
amount of faeries that visited it. They hiked through the woods and it
took them only 30 minutes. It was now 8:45. SkarIX told Die311 to work
hard and make sure it was done by noon, and then left.
He managed faster without his companion, and made it to his 2 story house
(they had it above their store) by 9:03. He went in and told mkjagz about
the situation and asked for money for the training school, so that he
could get up his level so that the faeries could bless him. His owner
agreed, and they went downstairs to get the NP out of the till.
To SkarIX's disappointment, the till only had enough for one course,
2000 NP. He discussed with mkjagz about this and they decided to take
NP out of the bank, because he had 30,000 in there. So they went outside,
and headed for the bank. They were only 5 blocks away from it. They only
had 4 more blocks...3 more.... 2 more.... 1 more... Right outside the
bank, there was a Crowd of Lupes. They were all whispering and pointing
at SkarIX. So they had heard about the challenge.
The Chia and his owner went inside the bank, and luckily, there was a
short line. Only about 4 people and their pets stood in the line. It was
now 10:55. They reached the counter by 11:02. Mkjagz told them the required
information and told them to withdraw about 10,000. They waited until
it was 11:04 and the person finally reappeared.
"Sir, I have some bad news," they said.
"What is it?" asked mkjagz.
"I'm afraid your account only has 7,000 NP in it."
To be continued...
