The Dream Factory

NeoPets are like humans, they have dreams. Every night, as silence fall across the dark sky, and only the faintest sound, such as a cat meowing, can be heard. The yet undiscovered Dream Faeries of Neopia would start blowing bubbles through a giant pipe.

The bubbles floated around the dark sky of Neopia and entered the brains of the sleeping pets, giving them very, very sweet dreams. The Dream Factory, where the Dream Faeries live and where the giant pipe was located, had been a very secret place for a long time. No one had ever known about them or where they lived, although some pets do claim to have seen a crowd of faeries all dressed in the same long silvery-white dress which reflects the moonlight, all flying in the same direction across the night sky.

A very large cauldron of mixture was placed in the main room of the Dream Factory, perhaps even larger than that of the Soup Faerie's. Several Dream Faeries will stir the mixture, while others would mix in new ingredients. The Dream Faeries are responsible for giving pets nice dreams after an exhausting day playing with their owners and exploring other worlds.

The mixture in the cauldron was called The Mixture of Dreams. When it is ready, a Dream Faerie will place the pipe into it and start blowing. The mixture that comes out of the pipe is bubbles and, when blown into the the air, they search for the pets that need them. But if a pet had been bad during day, don't expect the Dream Faerie to be kind to them!

Some bubbles would turn into black ones, with a skull inside it. It will float into the head of a bad pet, and that pet will dream of monsters, ghosts, scary things, and mostly this will change it's attitude towards other pets. It will have nightmares of being treated the way he/she had been bullying other pets!

Dream Faeries are exceptionally shy creatures, perhaps that was part of the reason why few people knew of their existence. They don't fly around giving pets quests, and they don't have the ability to increase a pet's strength like most faeries, but instead, they have a totally different magical power, a power to give pets a nice rest with a nice dream. I wonder what your pet will dream of tonight?
