In NeoPets, I often see a lot of people doing right and wrong things,
and poor people usually do the wrong things, because they're choosing
the wrong road. Okay, here are some ways to help you, but some might be
expensive so you've to save some money before starting "Advanced"
recommendations. GOOD CHOICES!!!
Beginners:
You would have maybe less than 1000 NP. Go to the Soup Kitchen, where
you can get your pet's hunger to "very bloated." Play Pokematch
and Kiko Match, and also Chiazilla! Those three are the games I always
play to earn money. Pokematch and Kiko Match can help me earn 1000 NP
a day, and in Kiko Match if I get 110 points and lower, I close the window
and open a new one to start, because 120 points and higher can have your
Neopoints doubled from your score. Also, main shops will be good, such
as the Magic Shop to buy a faerie for about 101 NP and then sell it at
your shop a bit higher, but not as high as 30,000 NP. Remember a shop
at the 3rd upgrade is good enough, don't waste too much money. Sell your
faerie 900 NP and lower, and people will buy it.
In the book shop, I often see the book shop selling the Karate for
Beginners for 18 NP, and this book is rare! Buy as much of that book
as you can, and sell it for 500 NP. There is also a game called NeoPets
Trivia. Explore the site before proceeding there because each question
you answer gives you 25 NP. But after you answer the question, right or
wrong you cannot answer it again.
Play Snow Wars, as you'll find it very useful when selling things. Join
a Guild with less members too because you'll have a higher chance of winning
contests, since they've less members.
Intermediate:
You should now learn how to use the bank effectively, and be able to
keep half of your money in the bank, and do anything you want with the
other half: Gamble, buy items, whatever. Next, upgrade your shop to around
the 6th upgrade and prepare to earn more. Play Dice-A-Roo and get your
inventory filled up with bunch of items, and sell them all if you have
any extras you may not want. Keep on playing the games I recommended to
you and find quests to do. Not meaning Faerie Quests, but feeding the
Esophagor, helping the Brain Tree and helping the poor chef in Maraqua
can help you. I've never tried to finish the Brain Tree's questions, because
it is really hard. If the chef or Esophagor asks you to find 1 or 2 things
that are below the price of 2000 NP, find it. The chef can upgrade your
pet's health, give 1000 NP and rare items. The Esophagor isn't as generous
as the chef, but with luck it can give you paintbrushes. I got one
and sold it in my shop for 10,000 NP.
Advance:
Finally you've reached here, and you should have at least 20,000 NP before
proceeding. Upgrade your shop to the 10th upgrade and keep on doing what
I've said (quests, certain games, and now you could try finding maps!).
Start with laboratory, as I say it can help you a lot with your pet's
stats. It can help you change color, upgrade your strength to 5 points,
and more! The bad thing is it may level down your pet, change to the opposite
gender you may not want, and all sorts--so be warned! Find maps by going
to the Shop Wizard and keep refreshing until you find the right map you
needed.
Always keep your maps in the safety deposit because they become useful.
When you have all the specific maps such as the laboratory maps I've told
you to get, transfer all your maps from safety deposit to inventory and
then immediately go to games. Then go to the maps, and click whatever
map you're doing and get your rewards. Some rewards aren't as great, but
it really isn't the fact of earning NP, but to have fun.
You can sometimes hit the jackpot. For example, if you got all the underwater
map and the normal reward was 15,000 NP, you'll sometimes get a double
bonus and get 30,000 NP instead. Wow!
