When the Calvin and Cherney Got To the Wood
"What did you mean when you said, 'yes, they're here'?" Calvin asked.
"Oh, yeah. Well, King Lupe said he would send a Flare Lupe to help us
find something called the Lost Lupe Lair," Cherney replied. Then, a booming
voice startled them: "Are you two Cherney and Calvin?" But before they
could reply, a gloomy voice interrupted: "Must find wood's heart, must
find wood's heart." It was Dejoi de Techo. As quickly as possible they
replied, "YES!"
Then the ship shot a green beam and a reddish-yellowish Lupe appeared,
and in a soft, delicate but in a harsh way, voice said, "Hello, Cherney,
Spydey, Calvin,and Cyclo."
"So, how do we get to the forest's heart?" Cherney asked.
"Tonight, go to the woods...11:04 sharp. Then, I will tell you," replied
the Lupe. "Bring a sleeping bag and your pets. Now, I'll see you later."
Both Kiko's returned horrified looks. You could tell they were thinking
about the sleeping bags. Then Cherney said, "Let's do it!" That night
at 10:37 they caught the train to the edge of Neopia (that took until
10:46). Then they handed in 2 totems and got on a boat towards Mystery
Island. When they got there they scurried to the lake, jumped in and swam
to Diggory Forest. They made it exactly when the clock turned 11:04. Then
they caught sight of the Lupe....
On a Desperate Quest of Tricks and Traps
"Over here, over here," the Lupe roared twice, "found the passage path,"
he said in a low rumbling voice.
"C'mon, Calvin," Cyclo said, "they're already ahead of us."
Cherney got there with Calvin on her tail. "Okay," the Lupe said, "Here
is how we get there." He muttered softly the direction in their ears.
They went into the woods and after a few hours of walking and crunching
leaves the heard a sound:
*Nah, Nah, Nah, Nah, Nah, Nah, I'll get there before
you!!!!!*
Even the Lupe heard it. "Let's rumble," the Lupe said and they were flying
at the speed of light. About an hour later, the Flare Lupe said they would
now sleep and that they were above the core of the heart. The next day
they woke up at 7:04 sharp and Lupe was chanting something, then the ground
collapsed and they fell through a mile long drop. When they reached the
bottom, they set off, every once in a while they would hear HELP! HELP!
The ground was full of obstacles, it was a desperate chase. Also, Calvin
kept falling through trapdoors. Finally, they reached the heart and under
it was a door that read: Alas it has been opened, the Lost Lupe Lair.
"Yes!" they all said. They sped at the speed of light toward the door
and were caught in a net. It took about an hour to get free and then they
were there. They went to the door and Cerin said, "expalupesaedefinatleetherulahsofneopia"
and the door swung open.
They explored and explored, every Lupe they had found was stone. Then,
they saw the ghost and a beam was in his eyes, two Lupes fought back so
Cerin ran up to help them...
"Too late," the ghost said and shot a beam that hit the Lupes.
All the Lupes, except Cerin, were turned into stone. Fury shone in his
eyes as he turned blood red and unleashed what looked like a two meter
firebolt that hit the ghost and saved the Lupes. Everyone was amazed at
his attack and he teleported to Lupoplis with every other Lupe but one.
It looked seriously injured and asked for their help.
They took it home and nursed it and it asked one thing, which was to
stay in Kikopolis. Its wish was granted. Meanwhile, Cerin was made flash
attacker of Lupopolis. Everyone lived as happy as could be from then on.
