The Blue Lupe Needs a Friend

One day a Lupe named Lupe_Figther2000 (some people call him Lupe Sam or fighter) was roaming in a field after his girlfriend had broken up with him. He picked up a lab map piece up and said, "I guess I should go check this out," as he walked into the woods and hide the piece and ran down a path forgetting what happened with his girlfriend.

"This will be great." He ran into something and rolled back a little bit and saw an ugly looking Lupe all bitten and beat up. Sam screamed and the Lupe said, "Calm down....My name is Susan2200."

Lupe Sam said, "Susan, I know you belong to jennyrose999."

"Yeah, I do." Then as he lifted her up she said, "How did you--"

Sam interrupted, "My owner is good friends with her."

He walked her to a spot and asked her what happened. "A Grundo was running really fast and ran into me over and over and over. I think he was doing it on purpose."

Sam jumped up and said, "Go home. I will take care of this."

Sam ran as fast as he could to town searching all the Grundos and not knowing someone was watching him very closely. Sam heard something up on the rooftop. He looked up and saw his sister, Sweety, lying on the roof.

"Did a Grundo do this to you? Please say it's not true."

"It was a Grundo," Sweety said.

"Warn as many people as you can about these Grundos. I have work to do." He ran off worrying about Susan and now his sister. What is going on, thought Sam. Then he notices what looks like his friend Areleah lying on the ground. "What the?"

"Grundo..." Areleah said right before she passed out.

Sam picked the Kacheek up and carried her with him. He was really worried now and needed to figure out what the Grundo was up to. He dropped the Kacheek off at the house. Sammy_Kougra_2000 was there yelling, "Sammy!!!!! Please help!"

Sam looked around for Sammy_Kougra. He began to worry, What if the Grundo got Sammy? He saw Sammy passed out on the ground so he picked him up, then he saw two Aishas, SweetyGal4ever and SweetyPie2000 on the ground, too. What the heck is going on? This alien is up to something. Sam had to pick them up and put them somewhere safe.

Sammy woke up and told Sam not to give up. Susan, Sweety, and Areleah woke up also and said, "We need to get home before the Grundo comes back!"

"All of the people I know have been attacked...what if the Grundo attacks me next? What if I am talking to the others in a club house meeting and then--"

"We needs some bait for the Grundo," Areleah said, cutting Sam off.

"Bait? You want me to be the bait?"

"You are the bravest!" they all say to him.

"No way, jose! Areleah, it's too dangerous!"

"Yeah, I know...we can't let you risk your life."

As they were talking Sam said, "What do you guys have in common?"

"We are NeoPets from Neopia," they all said.

"Wait a second...I think this Grundo is jealous that he's not a real NeoPet and he's taking it out on us," Sam said.

Then all of a sudden a fire came and blocked the only exit and they all began to panic, but Sam told them to step back and be careful. He kicked the wall down making a huge hole to get out. When they got out, Sammy said that he just saw a Grundo running away from the fire. They all split up and ran after the little alien. They ran for hours into the woods. Why is the Grundo doing this? thought Sam.

Sam shouted into the forest, "Grundo wherever you are SHOW YOURSELF NOW!"

The Grundo appeared and Sam quickly asked, "Why did you attack my friends?"

"I was teaching you a lesson."

"A lesson. Well, lessons aren't supposed to hurt," Sammy said, rubbing his head.

"You NeoPets are always thinking that you have no friends," the Grundo said.

"What?" Areleah asked, "I don't get it."

"Who were the pets you saved?" he answered.

"They were my brothers and sisters and..." Sam's voice trailed off.

The Grundo said, "I guess my lesson is coming in more clear now, isn't it."

"But why couldn't you just tell me instead of hitting me over the head?" Areleah asked.

"Easy. Because you wouldn't have listened to me...they are your friends and you proved it by helping each other."

Sam looked at all of his friends. The Grundo took out a zapper and pointed it at Sam.

"I've had enough lessons for one day," Sam said.

The Grundo turned the zapper towards himself. All the pets looked worried.

"It's okay, you don't have to do that. We aren't that mad at you," Sammy said.

It was too late. The Grundo zapped himself into a very bright purple light. The pets could hardly see what was happening. When they could see again, they saw, standing there before them, the Faerie Queen. Sam jumped back and the Queen Faerie said, "See, if you hadn't saved them you wouldn't be a true friend and you understand the meaning of friendship...to be there when they need you."
