The Price Depends On One?

In response to 'Overpriced Faeries' by dolphindude1645, I must admit that all faeries in the marketplace are overpriced. However, I defend those who sell them at such an expensive price. Faeries are available at the Magic Shop for under 100 NP each.

In the Marketplace, they are worth much, much more. This is actually beneficial to most people. Surprisingly, if they are patient, the poor can come off best. Faeries are prizes in Scorchy Slots and appear as random events. Also, if you have great patience, you can buy a faerie in the Magic Shop for 90 NP. Faeries are stocked frequently. BUT they go fast. If you have the patience to stick around, continuously reloading the page for several restocks, you can buy at least one faerie if you get in fast. This patience pays off.

As I said, faeries are worth a LOT more in the Marketplace. 1000 NP more. Now, you can sell your faerie for 1090 NP. Bingo! You just made a 1000 NP for waiting in the Magic Shop. IF, by chance, you think overpricing items like this is wrong, then YOU CAN CHANGE IT!!! All it takes is one person to change the entire value of faeries.

Here's why: When you are pricing your items, you should always check the Shop Wizard. If your item is not the cheapest on the market, chances are it won't be selling. Let's say you have a Fire Faerie in your shop for 10000 NP, then you do a search and find that someone has 10 Fire Faeries for sale, selling at 1200 NP each, you instantly know that unless you start selling yours for less than 1199 NP, no one will come to your shop. You lower your Faerie's price to 1150. Bam! Someone and their ten faeries have just made another shop's price go down 8850 NP.

This could happen again. If you bought 10 faeries from the Magic Shop and sold them at 500 NP each, others are likely to follow. You are still making money, but now the poor people can buy faeries easily, too. It works with any item. But be warned! This is anything but good. Faeries, like map pieces and most fruit, are a brilliant source of income, especially to poor people. I know. The cause of my fortune is my shop's sales. If you frequently stock ultra-cheap faeries, others will do so too and the entire faerie market will plummet. It's your choice. Do you want people to earn Neopoints easily, or buy faeries cheaply? One person can make a BIG difference. Choose wisely.
