Neopia is like an undying plant for miles in a town where every day is Arbor Day: it never stops growing. One minute you're rich, the next you're being attacked by an army of wandering ghosts. One minute you find yourself at a store that just restocked seconds ago, with the rarest item on your wish list, the next you find that it's sold out. What's that, you say? You want to know how to survive? It's easy, as long as you follow the following guidelines:

To get rare items before they're sold out, go to the shops at the appropriate situations. For example, let's say that you really need a Light Faerie. You've tried different ways to get it, but it is always sold out. Plus, you don't have enough NP to bid for it in auctions or to buy it in the marketplace and to support your pet after you pay. Then, one day, you don't have school/work on a week day, say, because it's a holiday, or you're home sick. Perfect! It's now the perfect time to try again because not everyone is missing school/work. So, take that opportunity to realize that that means that there's going to be as large of a crowd, and you could then easily buy your item. Still, I warn you: people all around the world are hooked up to NeoPets, so no matter what, there will always be a crowd.

Every chat board has at least three subjects that advertise a guild. If you are one of those people who put up these advertisements, then read this: WE DO NOT GO TO THE CHAT BOARDS TO LOOK FOR A GUILD TO JOIN, EXCEPT FOR MAYBE THE GUILDS CHAT BOARD. DO NOT POST YOUR ADVERTISEMENTS AND OFFERS IN PLACES THAT DON'T EVEN COME CLOSE TO TELLING THE CHATTER THAT THERE ARE ADS IN IT FOR GUILDS. ALL IT DOES IS TAKE UP SPACE. SO, PLEASE, ONLY PLACE ADS FOR YOUR GUILD IN THE APPROPRIATE CHAT BOARD! THANK YOU.

I've found it annoying to go to a shop in the marketplace who's front claims that they have many different items, and then you find out that there are no items at all. I'm sure other people have had that problem too. I just wanted to mention it.

This is just an opinion I have, but I think that the NeoPets people should put the guilds in order from least to most members in the guild sections instead of most to least because, that way, the guilds with hardly any members have a chance, instead of shoving them in the back where no one can find them.
