The Poor Babies...Or Not

by fire_babe_2000

What happens when NeoPets are abandoned into a luxurious adoption centre? When NeoPets are abandoned, they don't feel very well. I know, and I'm going to put you in the shoes of a poor abandoned pet named HaydenBlade whom I adopted and interviewed when he was fully recovered.

Me: HaydenBlade, you were abandoned. How did you feel when your old owner pressed the button the final time and you were expelled from your home?

HaydenBlade: I felt like a fool. I had been begging like a lunatic to stay. I was on my knees, pleading for my life. My owner gave me "that look" and I was put into a cage with others as pitiful as me. I met some really sweet pets there; I wish they could have come with me.

Me: Are those pets still there?

HB: Yes, sadly. They were good, strong pets that deserved a loving home. I was upset when you adopted me and I had to leave my friends, but I guess that's how life is, VERY unfair. If anyone else sees this, please go to the adoption centre and say "hi" to my chums for me. Tell them I'm doing great and wish them the best of luck. As soon as you set eyes on them, though, you'll want to adopt them for sure.

Me: Have you seen any very generous people who adopt all their pets?

HB: Yes, indeed. I've seen people who adopt the first four pets they see, no matter what the stats or race.

Me: Have you seen any new campaigns that help these pets?

HB: Yes I have. There is one that adopts all their pets, feeds them, loves them, and doctors them back to life until they're good as new. Then these pets get sponsors and always the sponsor gets attached to their "sponsee" pet and adopts them. If anyone reading this would like to check it out, go to http://neosponser.homestead.com/pets.html. Here you can see the pets that need homes or sponsors. I am on that list.

Me: Are you upset about being a "sponsee" pet like that?

HB: No, because I get taken care of 24/7. Nice people come to look at me and my mates and bring us treats and toys. One of my friend's sponsors even gave HER a PetPet! It is great being adopted this way. Much better than the pound. I call it THE HOME because that's what it feels like. Home.

Me: Thanks for your time, HaydenBlade. I wish you the best of luck in your new home.

HB: No prob. If you're reading this, please go sponsor a pet right now.
