Every Neopian needs financial security. Though many
people are confused when this subject is brought up, because there is
a difference between having Neopoints and having financial security. In
this article, I will help you achieve security.
Here are the best steps to reach this goal:
1. Don't fight in the Battledome unless you have over
15,000 NP. Good Battledome items are not cheap, and the cheap ones are
usually limited use, so you will have to buy more.
2. Don't buy food if you have less than 1000 NP. The
Soup Faerie will always feed any pet who has less than 1000 NP. Though
the Soup Faerie looks at bank accounts and shop tills too, so if she refuses
to feed your pet you may have some hidden NP.
3. If you get a Codestone, sell it. Start sending your
pet to the training school when you have at least 30,000 NP.
4. Feel free to take a non-Faerie quest, such as the
snow Faerie's quest, though look at the prices before you buy. Don't get
her the items if the total is over 2000 NP. If you take the quest and
don't get her the items, nothing will happen.
5. Always participate in contests. I think that picture,
poetry, and mystery picture are the best. You can get NP and rare items.
6. Play lots of games. I have heard that Kiko Match is
a good money maker, though I can't play it because I don't have Flash 5
and my parents won't let me download it. For Neopians who don't have flash
5 and can't play most money making games, Alien invasion is your best bet.
It works well with Flash 4, and it isn't too hard. You just have to know
your times tables.
7. Avoid the Wheel of Excitement. It costs 100 NP a spin,
and your pet can get Neopox and items stolen. You may win NP, but usually
you will win an amount under 100 NP. I have spun the wheel about 30 times
so far, and I have never hit the 10,000 NP jackpot.
8. Whenever you get some NP, put it in the bank. If your
Neopoints are in the bank, ghosts and other evils can't get to it. The
bank is also very useful for giving you Neopoints if you have over 15,000
NP in your account.
9. Only leave about two items in your inventory. Put
the rest in your safety deposit box. The safety deposit box is free, and
it protects your items from the Pant Devil.
10. Use the referral program.
11. Sign up with sponsors, but look at who you are signing
up with.
12. I wouldn't buy rare items all the time. If you took
70,000 NP out of your bank account to buy a Faerie paintbrush, that means
you would be losing the interest from the account!
13. Don't buy a paintbrush for your pet until you have
around 50,000 NP. The cheapest paintbrush is the Christmas paintbrush,
which sells for around 1000-2000 NP, so that wouldn't really put a dent
in your bank account.
14. Even though the Money Tree has helped out millions
of Neopians, it is hard to get a hold of his generosity these days. There
are so many NeoPets users that once you see the item, you don't. My advice,
if you really want something from the Money Tree, look for NP from it
during early morning.
15. Always visit the Snowager. He can give you really
rare items, and if he lowers your pets hit points, just take a visit to
the Water Faerie's Healing Springs.
16. Use the Shop Wizard. He can give you prices ten times
lower than it is in the main shops. Though be careful! For Neopox pizza,
he gives you the price of 3000 NP, though if you keep looking, you can
get the pizza in the pharmacy for 30-40 NP
17. The best bet to use the Shop Wizard is to press your
browser's refresh button to see the prices from other shops.
I would define Neopian financial security to be around
100,000 NP I know that is a lot, though if you follow my steps for about
2 months you can reach it! Remember - NeoPets is just a game - so if you
don't have a lot of Neopoints, don't get upset.
