Splashgold's Koi Day and Tips On Your Pet's Festival

How did your Koi enjoy Koi day? I know my Koi, splashgold, sure had a fun one. A new (I didn't like it at first, but hey, now he lost weight, eh?) makeover, 3 new Battledome moves, and much more updates! I even had him interview for Koi Day. For the Interview, I asked none other then mwa to interview splashgold.

Me: Okay splashgold. I have a few questions for you. How do you like Koi Day so far?

Splashgold: Great! I know owners all over Neopia are upset about the makeover, but I know my owner wouldn't abandon me even if he didn't like it...

Me: I didn't.

Splashgold: Well, anyway, my owner does find profit in everything, so he was able to find a way to enjoy me while he got used to the makeover.

Me: I didn't.

Me: Yes, I believe I did enter you in the Beauty Contest.

Splashgold: Yes, thanks for that beaded necklace! Well, now I have to admit I love the makeover, and so do all other Kois. I did hear somebody used a Morphing Potion on their Koi however, which I kind is so cruel! And I mean it!

Me: Yes. I have to say though, you have to understand that you do look kinda devilish now.

Splashgold: That's nothing! Have you seen my angry pose yet?

Me: Ack! Well, enough about the annoying makeover. What about your experience today?

Splashgold: Oh yes! I got to see egold, epk's oldest pet, fight the Earth Faerie. I'm going to fight after the interview myself. Also, I got to read Neopian Times, where you had an article about Invisible Paint Brushes. It came to me, why don't Kois have invisible paint brushes!

Me: Yes, yes, which reminds me, my little Gelert/Pteri/Koi/Grundo/Uni article is going to be a bit late.

Splashgold: Koi?

Me: Yes.

Splashgold: Well, afterwards, I got a pair of Denim Coveralls, because just I walk better in them.

Me: Walk? You still are crawling!

Splashgold: Well, I'm working with the owner of the Utility Fish Shop on inventing Fish Walkers! That way I can walk like any other NeoPet!

Me: Oh yes, you have being going to Maraqua lately.

Splashgold: Well, I have to go. Meeting with other Koi's, eh?

Well, now I thought after the interview, I'd do a little talk about taking care of your pet on its species own day. First, get ready! But get your NeoPet some presents. I know this is tough considering your NeoPet can't keep them, but get stuff like a key chain, plushie, a paintbrush, book, weaponry, and other stuff. Then get a hefty amount of NP for the day. Go on a Tiki Tour, draw a picture about your pet and submit it, write a poem about your pet and submit it, play a few rounds of Jubjub Blackjack and Neopoker, give your NeoPet's room some furniture, give it a shot in the Battledome, just to name a few. Remember, your other pets want to get in on the fun!

On Uni Day, give your pets 100% Fake Uni masks, on Grundo Independence equip your pets with Space Defense and Space Attack, and eat at Grundo's! Yum! I know my former Grundo turned Blumaroo will be a Grundo right before the festival. Also, read books to all your pets related to that certain pet.
