Click here to see how this story started! The Power of the Pant Devil Pant Devil HQ Devil Guard 59224 came whizzing in. "Sssirr, iitt's ann ammbussh! They kknoocked mmeee ouut cold, thheey diid. Soouund thee alarm!" Master Devil shrieked and turned on the loudspeaker. "Ssseeall all exxitts! Poosst twenty guuarrds at evveerry dooor!" Then he ran to the Item Cache, and grabbed an Icestorm Negg. "They'll never geet hherre in timme! Heh he he!" Pant Devil HQ Bathys and Bruce just got to the door when an alarm sounded. A siren started blaring, and a force field came over the door. Suddenly, the door opened and three Pant Devils came rushing out, Sparkshooters blazing. They pointed the Sparkshooters at the duo, but Bathys erected the Ice Shield. At this time Bruce turned back to human form and got the Wand of Supernova. He shot it at the Pant Devils, and - BOOM! The force field, door, and Pant Devils were gone. They rushed inside. Next, the Pant Devils got 5 Large Metal Shields and formed a wall with them. Seven others hid behind them and bombarded our heroes with Fireball Neggs. They instantly melted Bathys's Ice Shield. "I'll use the wand again!" said Bruce. He fired the wand at them, but it bounced off the shields and almost destroyed Bathys! "OK. Different strategy." Bathys started dowsing the Neggs with shots of water. Bruce then charged straight into the shields. That stunned the Pant Devils for a moment. Bathys then flew above the Devils and shot streams of ice at all of them. That froze all of them. Bathys carried Bruce above the shields and into a dark tunnel. He dropped him, and they ran along the narrow corridor. They saw a huge metal gate being lowered ahead. Bruce took out a Negg from the Negg Bag, and tapped it with the Wand of Supernova. That turned the Negg into a Grenade Negg. He tossed it at the gate and it exploded. They dashed through the gate only to find more Devils! This time there was a huge tower carved out of rock with a moat surrounding it. Something rolled out of the tower. Egad! A rainbow frost cannon! The Pant Devils started shooting it nonstop. Bathys then dove down and made a wave of water rush over the tower. All the Pant Devils and the Frost Cannon were knocked into the moat. Bathys flew over the moat. Then Bruce transformed and did the same. Pant Devil HQ "Twenty-seven percent charged," said the laser's mechanical voice. M. Devil was worried. If he couldn't charge it up, then he couldn't fire it! Just then, a Devil rushed in. "Sssirr, tthhhe ppaiir hhavve bbrreacched thhhee second llinne!" "Seall thhee eennttrrance to thhe gunn chamber! said M. Devil. Pant Devil HQ Bathys stared up in wonder. Here was a vat as big as a city block, and it was filled to the brim with stuff! Toys, weapons, food, you name it. They heard a whirring sound. Oh no! Pant Devils were riding the conveyor belt over here! They climbed up a ladder to the top of the vat and grabbed a weapon. Then seven Pant Devils rushed into the room. Bruce chucked a Crystal Boomerang at them, and knocked four of them out. Bathys got the boomerang on the return and knocked the other three out. They tried to walk across the toys, but they sunk. So they flew across. They were almost there when an Evil Negg was thrown over the top of the vat. It exploded and about twenty bats came flying out! They bats came flying straight towards them. They got in our heros' wings, hair, and feet. They just got over the Cache, so they stopped flying. Unluckily, they forgot about the drop! They fell to the floor with a renouncing CRRASSH. Bathys hopped up and froze all of them. A long hallway was sealed with the Pant Devil insignia. Bruce used the Wand of Supernova, and BAAM! The door flew open. They rushed inside and gasped. It was a large circular chamber with a giant laser the size of an observatory telescope sitting in the middle. A large, red Devil was sitting at the control screen. "Sssooo… yoouu finally mmaade itt, did yooouuu? Welll, I mayy nott have enough jjuuuice to dessstrooy Myssstery Isslland, butt I have eenooughh to destroy you!" With that, he aimed them gun at them. They rushed out of the way, and - BOOM! There was a big, smoking hole in the wall where they would have been just standing. "Ssstuppid crreaturrs!" He fired the gun five more times, but every shot was dodged. The mechanical voice came up. "Unable to fire due to lack of power." The Master Devil shrieked. He hopped down from the console and said "I'll havvee too finish youuu offff myself!" He threw an Icestorm Negg them. It hit Bruce in the chest. "Eeeumph!" Bathys screamed and rushed to Bruce's side. "Are you OK?" "Get… get that Devil…" He did, and battled it out with him. It seemed Bathys was winning, when Bathys looked like he was going to be sick. Then he started getting red spots over his body. No! The Neopox was getting to him! Then M. Devil shot him. He fell to the floor too. The mechanical voice came up again. "Enough power gathered for two low-intensity shots." M. Devil cackled and jumped to the controls. "Aaany lllasst words?" Bruce took out a Fireball Negg from the bag just as the Pant Devil was about to fire and threw it at the ray. It spun around wildly, and fired at the ceiling, creating another hole in the roof. While M. Devil was realigning the gun, Bathys took out a Blue Furry Negg and split it. They both now had some power left. M. Devil realigned the gun. "Noowww, to ffirre!" Bathys took out a Negg and threw it in the gun's nozzle just in time. The Negg clogged up the gun. "Warning: Overload. Warning: Overload. Inability to fire," sounded the mechanical voice. "Get out of here!" screamed Bruce. They both flew out of there at breakneck speed. 5 seconds later-BOOOM! There was a huge explosion and the top of the PD HQ was literally blown off. Of course, the explosion from the Death Ray also triggered every other weapon in there to explode, and so it looked like the Fourth of July down there. A slice of green pizza flew out of the explosion. The Neopox Pizza!?! Bruce quickly caught it and threw it to Bathys. She caught it in her mouth and downed it in one gulp. They flew home, wanting to tell the incredible story to the pets at the NeoHome… The End |
