"Oh no!" yelled the Faerie Queen, her face glistening
with shock in the moonlight.
"What has happened?" the Uber-Light Faerie said, as
she came into the Faerie Queen's chamber. All the Faeries had come from
their chambers to the Queen's.
"Are you all right?" the Uber- Air Faerie, her face clear
of worry, "What is wrong?"
"Oh, it was just a dream, nothing important," the Faerie
Queen said, suddenly relaxed.
"Are you sure? Shall I call for the nurse Faerie?" the
Uber- Water Faerie said quickly.
"No, I'm fine, really," the Queen Faerie said, "Go back
to your rooms."
The Faerie went in silence, leaving the Faerie Queen
alone in her room. I need a pet, she thought to herself, A nice,
strong Kougra.
The next day, the Faerie Queen went down to the Adopt-A-Pet
Building in Neopia. Accompanied by her Guard Faerie, it seemed that she
was perfectly safe. As she walked down rows of abandoned Kougra's. The
images of sad pets filled her mind with sadness. She wished she could
comfort them all. Then, an idea came into her head. She would give orders
to find all the pets owners, especially Newbies, who wish for a strong
pet.
Finally, she settled on a Christmas Kougra named Ocinna.
They returned to her castle. Upon her arrival, she heard news that a new
Faerie had been born. The Faerie Queen went to the cloud in which all
Faeries were born.
"How beautiful!" she had exclaimed as she lifted the
new Faerie off of the cloud. "What type should we make it?"
"How about a Fire Faerie?" the Uber-Fire Faerie said
hopefully.
"No, the one born yesterday was made a Fire Faerie,"
The Faerie Queen replied, "How about a Water Faerie? We haven't had one
of those in a while."
She raised her hand and rubbed her hand on the baby Faerie's
forehead. The wings of Faerie grew, a wonderful shade of light blue, a
change of different clothes appeared on her and her hair turned into a
golden colour.
"Yay! A new Water Faerie!" exclaimed the Uber-Water Faerie,
smiling intensely, "We must have a celebration tonight to give thanks
for a new Water Faerie!"
That night, screams of joy could be heard from even the
hidden tower, where the Faerie Queen put her expensive weapons in order
for the tourists to buy. However, she removed eight of the eight most
powerful items in the shop to equip her new pet, Ocinna.
"Excuse madam," said a voice behind her.
The Faerie Queen turned around instantly, and behind
her stood a strange Silver Faerie
"Who are you?" asked The Faerie Queen curiously.
"I am an only Faerie of my type, I am a Dream Faerie,"
the silver Faerie said, her large eyes looking deep into the Faerie Queens.
"Do you have a home? Will you be all right tonight? Do
you want a chamber in my castle?" the Faerie Queen asked, worried that
this Faerie would be caught.
"No, I have a home among the stars with the Space Faerie,
she is very generous," The Dream Faerie said, " But, I have something
for you, you will be in a dream tonight. But it won't be a normal dream,
it will tell you the future, which will not be always happy."
Then, she disappeared in a smoky POOF! The Faerie
Queen left for her chamber to rest her eyes, deciding that in the morning,
she shall equip Ocinna. She fell into a dark, deep sleep. Suddenly, she
appeared on a grassy plain, wearing what appeared to be the Light Faeries
golden gowns. 'Where am I?' she thought. 'Is this the dream?'
A galloping noise was coming from behind and she spun
around wildly, like she was doing a karate move. The galloping came from
a Uni who was running towards her, like a bull when he's charging.
The Faerie Queen shielded herself just as it appeared
that the Uni would collide into her. Just as sudden as it appeared, it
disappeared. The Faerie Queen opened her eyes and she was not in the open
plain anymore, but under the water. 'Is this the dream?' she thought.
A school of Koi was swimming toward her. She propelled
herself with her fins (she had turned into a water Faerie) out of the
way.
"What does all this mean?" she asked herself. Suddenly,
she was sucked into, what appeared to be a drain.
The Faerie Queen was somewhere of pure darkness. She
walked along a narrow corridor until she reached an area where it was
dimly lit with torches. The Faerie Queen looked down at herself and she
was now wearing a dark purple dress and cape.
A sound of heavy breathing, resembling the Monocerous,
was hidden in the darkness. Curiosity came over the Dark/Queen Faerie
as she ventured into the darkness toward the heavy breathing. It became
louder as she wandered deeper and deeper into the darkness. She entered
a tunnel and kept going saying over to herself that she could defeat others,
which gave her courage.
A light of good hope began to fill the tunnel as she
reached its end. The Dark/Queen Faerie walked into the light and saw that
she was in the middle of a festival in the air.
She had now become an Air Faerie The Air/Queen Faerie
looked down at the clouds below and saw her body, dead on the clouds.
The only one weeping was her pet Ocinna. There was no sight of the other
Faeries, only the Air.
They were happy. She walked towards one of them and asked
them if they noticed that The Faerie Queen dead on a cloud. They merely
laughed, saying that the Queen was in her chamber resting from the Tyrannian
Invasion. She flew and flew to Tyrannian Volcano's and settled on one
of them, surprised that she could withstand the heat. Looking into the
volcano, she saw her reflection as a Fire Faerie
"What is going on?" she asked herself over and over.
"Like I said before." The Dream Faerie fluttered gracefully
down, hovering just above the volcanoes. "This shows you the future."
"Of who? Tell me," The Queen Faerie said, her voice rougher
than her usual gentle tone.
"The person you have not been." And, with that, she disappeared.
The person I have not been? What does that mean? If she
means Faerie, then it would be the Earth Faerie What does it have to do
with the Earth Faerie? Is there a power that is greater than what she
appears to have? Can she do more than just everlasting food? Maybe, if
I looked closer…
"Wake up, wake up," a voice said. She opened my eyes
and saw the gentle Soup Faerie's face.
"I just had, the strangest dream," the Queen Faerie said,
looking relieved to be in her own room.
"Here, drink this. It's a remedy for fear," the Soup
Faerie said kindly, "drink it, go on."
"Bring me the Earth Faeries, I need to talk to her."
"All right."
The Soup Faerie left down the corridor to the Earth Faeries
Chamber. It was a while before the Earth Faerie was awake.
"You called for me, Queen?" said the Earth Faerie
"Yes, I need to ask you something and I want you to tell
me the truth," the Faerie Queen said.
"OK? What is it?"
"Do you have powers that are hidden from me? Powers that
can grant more than everlasting food?"
"I am not sure, but there is a legend told to me. It
is too long to tell now, but next time," said the Earth Faerie
"Yes, tell me, next time," and with that, the Faerie
Queen fell asleep again. A deep dreamless sleep.
