Employment Agency Success

by dirtydoll

Are you poor? Is your pet not exactly "smarter than the average bear"? Are you sick of playing Meerca Chase and want to make some SERIOUS DOUGH?!

Well, there's a little place in Faerie City that many owners haven't yet considered visiting. Yes, it's the Employment Agency, a prominent yellow and purple building that is full of moneymaking opportunities for you and your pet.

My Poogle, Aidiel, loves the Employment Agency. For this article, I decided to bring Aidiel with me to the agency and interview her about just what made the agency so appealing.

dirtydoll: Why do you think working is fun?

Aidiel: Well, there's a wide variety of jobs. Sometimes, you can take a job that involves collecting items and bringing them to the agency. That's the kind I like best. But lots of my friends like jobs where you just have to play games better. No matter what, there's a job for everyone! Rich or poor, you can make lots of money.

dirtydoll: But look at some of these job descriptions! "Find five Stegos and earn 1024 NP"? Don't Stegos cost around 3000 NP each?! You'd just be losing 13,976 NP!

Aidiel: Yup. You have to be careful--some of the jobs make you lose money instead of earn it! You may have to hunt around for something good, like this one! "Find 5 Cheery Blossoms and earn 809 NP." You'd earn some points with THAT job.

dirtydoll: And also... Job Coupons are very expensive. What if you have no money to start out with?

Aidiel: You take a Basic Job... no coupon required... duh!

dirtydoll: Don't roll your eyes! Now, tell me, how much time do you get to complete your job?

Aidiel: It depends on the job, so you really have to pay attention. If you don't finish the job in time, it goes on your resume, and everyone will know you failed! But, if you finish your job quickly, you'll probably get some bonus NP!

dirtydoll: Tell me more about these resumes. Does every pet have one? Do they have any use?

Aidiel: Any pet who completes or fails a job has a resume. They ARE useful, because if you have a perfect one like me, you can show it off! And if you have a good resume, it's easier to find willing boyfriends or girlfriends, pets to hang out with, or even new owners.

dirtydoll: Well, what do you suggest to help other pets build up their resume?

Aidiel: Speed is number one. You have to be quick when you apply for a job, or someone else will get it. And once you get the job, you should complete it as quickly as you can so you get a bonus!

After the interview, we explored the agency and followed some pets on a few jobs. We even spotted OldZietTier, the stone Uni who has completed 4,329 jobs as of this writing. All in all, taking jobs can make a pets life a lot more fulfilling. It does teach responsibility, but it also gives them the NP they need to have fun!
