Oodles and Oodles of Scorchstones - The Perfect Reminder of the Once MOST Popular NeoPet

First off, I would like to state that this is my first article and I'm not sure how to start this. Here it goes. . . .

This article is about the very much talked about stones. No, it isn't about your pet rock and neither is it about furniture. It is about Scorchstones. There is much talk going on about these stones. Many times , the question "Where do they come from?" arises. Well, let us return to the past, to the time where Scorchstones didn't exist, to the time when they were know by some other name, to the time of the great Dragon. If any of us could remember correctly, these stones were called Dragonstones. They were lifesavers for many battlers as they could take in many elements that existed throughout Neopia and still emerge unharmed. They were considered as one of the few greatest equipment to protect Neopets everywhere. They were, however, dull looking with very little detail.

Mystery has always enveloped the identity of the maker of these stones as no one knows who creates them. They are always delivered on time to the Battle shops mysteriously. However, everything changed one day. The Dragonstone was recreated to forever remind us of one species of the Dragon family that is still very much alive today. It took shape of a smaller distant cousin of the Dragon. Finally after a huge amount of time of designing and carving, it became clear that they took shape of a Scorchio !!!. These new creation was a detailed replica of the ever famous Scorchio carrying the great Neopian Planet on its back looking smugly at its opponents. Even more powerful than before, these could not only protect your pet but also heal in times of need. These stones were thus renamed as Scorchstones !!!

Now, enough with the past. Let us come back to the future and understand the attributes of each colour that these Stone come in.

These stones come in:

Blue, Bronze, Earthen, Silver, Golden, Green, Purple, Red and R a i n b o w

I will try to summarise the stones into two categories :Protection & Healing

Protection
These stones can be used an unlimited number of times
Earthen
Protects against the sky and all users of dark magic

Silver
Being a very useful and expensive item, it protects against the sky, the tears of the ocean and the attacks of the enlightened ones

Golden
The most precious amongst all the protecting stones , the Golden Scorchstone. Made to withstand scorching temperatures and sky attacks

Healing
All of this stones can only be used once per battle so use them wisely!!
Bronze
One of many, this will heal your pet a cool fifteen points
Red
Better then the Bronze version, it can heal twenty hit points
Blue
Now we are getting closer to the top. Making its way up, in fourth place, Blue with the ability to heal Thirty hit points
Green
With such power, it's no wonder Green comes in third. Able to heal a great forty hit points
Purple
No other stone can stand up to Purple except one. This is still a great addition to your collection because it can heal a generous fifty hit points

And coming in at first place, RAINBOW with an enormous healing ability of EIGHTY hit points!!!!

All these stones amount to an enormous value so it is no wonder even buying one would cost you quite a bit.
