A Happy Birthday!

Birthday themed customization: Why not dress up your pet to match that theme that we all are so familiar with by now? Birthday themed customization is sure to be quite fun, especially if your pet shares the same birthday as Neopets. And besides, who knows? You might even stumble upon some rather creative ideas when you're in the celebration mood.

Cut a cake: Everybody knows that no birthday is complete without a cake. Honestly, blowing out the candles and cutting the cake is the most essential party of a birthday! And everybody loves cake. (If you know someone who says that they don't like cake.. Let me tell you something. It's a lie! Even Dr. Sloth loves cake!) So, why don't you slice a cake and share it with all your pets and friends?

Play with your pets: Do you remember when was the last time that you played with your pets? Neopians are all quite busy playing fun games, purchasing different items, etc., etc.,. So it might be nice to take some time off to play with them. Because they are truly the most important aspect of being a part of the Neopets family. And I'm pretty sure that they miss you too.

Get nostalgic: Think of the old times. Birthdays are always about new beginnings, but not all old things are meant to be forgotten. Fancy a trip to the Game Graveyard? If you are unaware of what it is, do not fear. It is home to those old games that were there since the beginning of Neopets. Although it doesn't pay to play them, you can always enjoy yourselves for a little time before moving on.

Give your pet a different color: You have been celebrating your pets since the day you created them. You might have changed their colors, zapped them with the lab ray, made them battle, trained them and played with them. But today is a special occasion. You might have been saving up to paint one of your special pets a nice color. So if you have enough money, then go get that paint brush. And if you have a paint brush lying around in you SDB, why not dust it off and give one of your pets a different color in honor of Neopets's Birthday.

Explore: So very much has happened and changed since the beginning. There are so many different places to visit and so many fun things you could do. People like to go out on their birthdays and have a little fun. So, pack your bags, and go on a little trip with all your pets. Take them on an adventure they'll always remember. (Don't forget to bring back some souvenirs!!)

Spend a little: Have enough money in the bank? Then spend a little bit. Maybe there's a dress that you've been eyeing for quite some time, or that wig that would completely change the way your pet looks, or that background that would look absolutely wonderful on your baby pet. So, what are you waiting for? Go out and buy them. Special occasions are meant to make you spend a little bit of all that hard earned money you've been saving in the bank. (Don't worry you don't have to spend it all...)

Adopt a pet: Birthdays are joyous occasions. And everybody deserves to be happy. But there are so many sad pets that are in the pound, just waiting for a friend. So if you don't have too many pets to take care of, then go to the pound and add a new member to the family. Your pets are going to be thrilled to have a new sibling and you would definitely make a new neopet so much more happier. And don't hesitate to encourage some of your other neofriends to do the same.

Make a new friend: There are so many lonely users on Neopets who would simply love to have a neofriend. So, why not make a new friend? They're happy, you're happy, everybody's happy. Now let's all go out and have some ice cream!!

Donate: Not everybody on Neopets is rich and would be absolutely delighted to get some neopoints. So if you know someone who is in need of some extra money, then go out and give them a little money. If all your neofriends are rich, donate anyway. Go to the money tree and somebody is sure to find the money. A smile on somebody's face is a lot more valuable than that bottle of neocola you were going to buy.

Give a gift to your friend: Know any neofriends who share the same birthday as neopets? Well, that's fantastic isn't it?! Go ahead and buy them a gift for their birthday. There are so many wonderful birthday themed items on Neopets. You could always make it extravagant. But if you want to keep things simple, you could simply send them a greeting card, something nice for their pet, a giant cake, or something along the lines, you know. But don't worry if you're running a little low on money (like me..), you could simply send them a neomail. (And a giant slice of cake. You have to send the cake! Don't you understand how important that is? At least send some candy!)

Well, those are some of the things to keep in mind. But these are only some suggestions. You could always come up with your own ideas to celebrate Neopets's Birthday. And if you don't want to do anything or go anywhere, you could always sit on your couch, pretend Jelly world is real, and dream of bouncing on all that edible jelly! Yum!
