Photography

      *Snap* That was the sound that the striped Gelert's tourist camera makes when she elegantly took a photo. Charliemae had a special feeling for taking flawless pictures, and whenever she had free time, she'd go and walk around looking for things to take a picture of. She was the best photographer in Neopia Central and had the ability to take pictures that looked like they were alive! Her talent was so good that she was invited to join one of the most famous photography groups in Neopia!

      "That's a good one!" Coconut said, as she looked over the Gelert's shoulder.

      Charliemae and Coconut were visiting Mystery Island to get some good photos and were staying there for a few days. The white Draik smiled as she hovered over the ground and showed Charliemae her picture

      "Do you like?"

      The Gelert ginned and said "Oh, that's excellent! True beauty."

      "You know.." Coconut continued, "It's so beautiful here! I wish I could live here!"

      "Yeah. It is nice here isn't it. Let's go to the beach and take a picture of the sunset!" The Gelert said excitedly.

      "Yeah!"

      The two walked fast to try and catch the sunset. "Why don't you fly everywhere?" Charliemae questioned as she walked.

      "The same reason why you don't run everywhere, it's to tiring." She replied, "Here we are!"

      They both gazed at the sunset, as they tried to catch their breath. "Just in time!" Charliemae said. They both pulled out there cameras and took pictures.

      "It's so beautiful!" The Draik said, as she wiped the sweat off her forehead.

      "Well, I think that's enough pictures for the day. "Coconut said. They both had already gone on two Tiki Tours and they both went to Techo Mountain for a bit.

      "Best get back to the Lost City of Geraptiku and return to our hut." Charliemae declared.

      It was their second day here and today was Gadgadsbogen day! Lots of parades and fruit to take pictures of. We walked to the Tropical Food shop and on the way took pictures of all the decorations

      set up for the festival. We finally made it to the Tropical Food shop just when it opened. *Ding Ding*

      The bell chimed as we opened the door. An Island Techo was placing fruits, Charliemae quickly took a picture.

      The Techo turned around, "Can I help you? We have a special variety of fruits today. Oh, where are my manners? Happy Gadgadsbogen day!"

      The two froze, not knowing what to say. "Um, we're just here to take pictures." Coconut said.

      "Oh. You picked a very good day. We added some new fruit. We added some Astrannas, Melowhirls, and lots more!" The Techo exclaimed

      "Actually.." Charliemae continued, "..we would like to take a picture of you Mr...?" "Zac. You can call me Zac! Sure, would you like me to hold some fruit?" Zac asked.

      "Oh, that would be wonderful!" They both said.

      They both took some pictures then left. "Have a happy Gadgadsbogen day!" Zac shouted, as they walked out the door. He gave them both, just before they left, a Mystery Island Travel stamp.

      "Where do you want to go next?" Coconut asked.

      "You want to go to Mystery Island Mystic and get your fortune read?"

           "Yeah. Let's take the boat and take some pictures of the ocean on the way!" The Draik excitedly said. They both went to the Harbour and left on a boat to Mystery Island Mystic.

      They got off the boat and started to look around. The boat slowly disappeared in the thick fog.

      "Wait! Wait! Come back!" Coconut shouted!

      "They can't just leave us here! Can they?" Asked the Gelert.

      "We should go to Mystery Island Mystic. Maybe there will be somebody there to help us." said the Draik. They both walked through the fog trying to see their way.

      "I see a light!" Charliemae said. They both followed the light to a small hut surrounded by skulls.

      "Boo!" a voice came out of nowhere! They both jumped. They saw a shadow

      "Ahhhhh!" They screamed. An Island Kyrii came out of the hut. "I really scared you!" He laughed.

      "Haha, very funny." Coconut sarcastically said.

      "Can you help us? The boat left and I don't know if it's coming back." Charliemae questioned.

      "The boat coming back? Hahahahahah! You can't be serious. After the sun sets and night falls, they leave you here for the night." He explained.

      "What! They won't come back!" She shouted.

      "Yep. They come back for you early in the morning."

      "Would you like me to read your fortune?" He chuckled.

      "Sure?" The Gelert said unsure.

      "Come this way." he said. They entered the creepy hut.

      "Wow!" they both said as they looked around, the hut was filled with potions and a Mystery Island Cauldron.

      "Come sit." he said, pointing to a chair. Charliemae sat on a bone chair, while the Kyrii pulled up another bone chair, and sat on it.

      "Give me your paw." he said. The Gelert lifted up her paw. There was silence for a moment, then the Island Kyrii spoke, "You will rapidly realise that you must play Cheat." There was silence again for another moment.

      "Would you..." He was cut off.

      "No way!" Coconut exclaimed.

      "Excuse me for a moment" He went behind some red curtains.

      A moment later he came out with a scary mask on! "Roar!" he yelled.

      "Ahhh!" They both ran out of the hut and into the dark woods. At about the middle of the woods they both stopped.

      "What was that!" Coconut shouted. "I don't know, but whatever it is it's gone." Charliemae answered. They both heard a howl.

      "Uh, Coconut. Where are we!!!" They heard the bushes moving. They heard something moving.

      "Coconut!" It came toward them fast.

      All of a sudden something came the other way and before the thing in the bushes attacked, the Island Kyrii waved his torch and yelled "ROAR!" They all ran away after that.

      The Island Kyrii lifted his skull mask, "Be careful those Halloween Splyke's are very aggressive, but are scared easily."

      Frightened Charliemae said "Thank you for saving us."

      "It was nothing." He replied. "Come on, I'll lead you back to the docks..."

      They made it back to the docks just in time for the boat to come. They boarded the boat and were on their way.

      "So, how did you enjoy your stay here?" Coconut asked.

      "It's was great! Actually it was terrifying. Well, at least the last part was." The Gelert replied.

      "Want to come again sometime?" The Draik asked.

      "Yeah. Some time." Charliemae said.

      The next morning the two photographers packed up their stuff and headed to the Harbour, to leave Mystery Island.

      "That's a good photo."

      "Thanks!" Coconut said.

      "Ooh! Nice wave!" Charliemae shouted! Her camera clicked, as she took a photo of the extravagant wave. The Draik jumped off the boat, flew over the ocean, and said.

      "Say 'Cheese Crumb'!" Coconut shouted.

      The Gelert smiled and replied saying, "Cheese Crumb!" *snap*

      She flew back over to the boat and showed Charliemae her picture.

      "I like it!" she said.

      "Of course you like it, it's got you in it." She laughed.

      "Hehehe!" Charliemae chuckled! "No, but I really like it." The Gelert said.

      "I know. I was just joking!" They both watched the sun rise.

      "So. Where do you want to go next?" Coconut asked.

      "Where do you want to go?" Asked Charliemae.

      "On an adventure!"

      "Coconut. "I think we already started one!" Charliemae said.
