The Ten Coolest Neohome Items From Outside Neopia
These days, Neopians say to expect the unexpected. Even if that means to expect a Nova to crash through the roof of your neohome, and become the latest interior decorating trend! Technological advancements from outside of Neopia have allowed access to treasures beyond even the most imaginative Neopets' fantasy. This is Exploze, the Oil Paint Scorchio, and Nujum, the Candy Grundo. And together we have sought answers across our galaxy for what the ten coolest items from outside Neopia are to have in your neohome! Please join us in this article, as we crossed Neopia, and beyond, to find these treasures.
10. Robo Aisha (Classic Neohome exclusive) For the first item on this list, coming in at the tenth ranking position, we asked the Alien Aisha, Shreegla VI, who is visiting Neopia on a special mission, why they feel Neopians must have this item in their neohomes. "You see", they tilt all four of their ears forward, "This item was custom-designed by the fantastic Captain Xelqued." We stop for a moment to contemplate, and then reflect that Xelqued is a famed intergalactic inventor. "Everyone, and I mean everyone on Neopia loves Aishas! They're the raddest thing this side of Kreludor!" We checked records, and the Aisha ranks as the twentieth most popular Neopet. "Plus, the secret is, these Robo Aishas, they can even eat your rubbish! That's very environmental, huh?!" Yes, that's being conscious of our planet! And for just 135,000 NP, you too can have a Robo Aisha to pet, love, and eat your garbage!
9. Brilliant Altador Bed (V2 Neohome exclusive)
Next on the list, in the position of rank nine, we consulted about this item with Siyana, the magnificent light faerie of Altador. She was quite exhausted from her daily duty of protecting Altador, that when we visited her neohome for a brief interview, she was reclining on a gorgeous bed. Coincidentally, this same bed is of the style we placed on our list. "The sun, the jubilant crest of Altador, serves as head-frame of this bed", Siyana detailed, as she stretched her arms to cradle the symbol of her hometown pride. Siyana then reclined forward, and moved her left hand to touch the flowing canopy, "It's ethereal, assembled by many gifted Needlers. And it protects the mind from unwanted dreams - nightmares." To have the best sleep, night or day, you can find the Brilliant Altador Bed at your local NC Mall, for 300 NC.
8. Cylara Poster
Arriving in the eighth position, the Cylara Poster, once given as an Advent Calendar prize, is a treasure for your neohome walls. We spoke using space technology through a communication screen, with Gorix, a kind and heroic Grundo, to ask why Neopians should have this item in their neohome. "Well, she's my friend, and she saved not only Kreludor, but our whole universe! What better way to honour her than by displaying her image?" Gorix pulled his galactic computer chair to the right, and revealed this same poster on his bedroom wall. The full-sized poster was nestled between an advert of Alien Aisha Vending Machines, and a film poster about a Green Evil Fuzzle. We continued to inquire more about Cylara, before Gorix interrupted, "The poster is scratch n' sniff, by the way! If you scratch Cylara's hair, you can smell Kreludor dust! It's awesome!" Perhaps if you fancy Cylara as a hero and the scent of Kreludor dust, you can buy this item for just 700 NP.
7. Orange Grundo Chair
Not purple, orange! Xarthab, former leader of the Orange Grundo faction speaks with us, again through space technology, to tell us more about why the Orange Grundo Chair is so great. "It's orange!", Xarthab exclaims, while spreading his hands out, fingers opened around his face. He appears almost like a vibrant orange flower. "You're writing WHAT?", Xarthab leaned forward and attempted to glance at the draft of our article, his red eyes peering through his communication screen. After a moment of reassuring we meant that as a compliment, Xarthab continues, "The ears on this grundo chair, they're actually satellites! You put two of these kiddos in the same room, four, six, eight! You can communicate through them!" So if you have a dinner table the width of a Gormball field, perhaps for 800 NP you can communicate with tea time guests.
6. Kauvara Rug
We had visited Faerieland, hoping to ask about an item that appeared earlier on this list. But on the way, we stumbled upon The Discarded Magical Blue Grundo Plushie of Prosperity. Hanging around in a tree, as gloomy as ever, he motioned his dangling right foot, in a kicking motion, for us to approach, and we did. "You see that?", he rolled his eyes to the left, in the direction of a Faerie Ruki, selling carpeting. "Look at the colours!", he attempted to express positively, but still perhaps with melancholy. We saw before us, a luscious wool rug, blue, gold, and yellow, woven so beautiful, and so delicately. "That's Kauvara's Rug", the plushie explained. We spoke with the Ruki that was selling the rug, and she informed us for 4,000 NP, Neopians could have this spacious area rug, attached using alleged magic from a meteor, and modelled after the starry pattern on the famed magician, Kauvara.
5. Space Faerie Flower (V2 Neohome exclusive)
We couldn't possibly have a list of out of this world neohome items without giving respect to Mira, the protective Space Faerie. We interviewed one of her biggest fans, Kora, a young Poogle in Neopia Central, to ask her feelings about the best Mira-themed object to decorate with. "The Space Faerie Flower!", she joyfully exalted, as she leapt from her mother's lap, within a rocking chair, to point to the ceiling, as if to space itself. After further questioning, Kora led us upstairs to her bedroom and showed us a very special flower she had growing on her desk. "This is the flower", she revealed, as we looked on at a nebula blue stem, surrounded by red rings, and six greyish blue petals. "Mira, it looks just like Mira!", Kora danced around, after picking up the potted flower. Available for 2,500 NP, this flower will look shine like a quasar in your neogarden.
4. Private Rocketship (V2 Neohome exclusive)
Zooming into the fourth position on our ranking, we have an item, rare, and technically retired. The Private Rocketship is an item that was only available through a sponsorship, at the time of this printing, a decade ago. Rumour is that a famed Bruce created and exclusively distributed this vessel. From Neopian Central, we spoke with the famed, Miss Tobik. A Bruce of great wealth, she is one of the few Neopians to posses this treasured item. "You see, darling...", she guides out around hedges and towering trellises, to a secret corridor within her neogarden, "... I believe it was the great Denethrir who crafted this!" We researched and Denethrir is a mythological Bruce wizard, said to have knowledge of magic beyond Neopia, surpassing even that of the faeries. But historians claim such as Moehogwash. Regardless, for a mere 15,000 NP, perhaps this item isn't as elusive as once thought. No one inform Miss Tobik we doubt this item actually allows space travel.
3. Ultranova Wardrobe
Do you have more precious treasures than you know where to store? Is your collection at risk of potentially being lost amid all other treasures? We spoke with Kayla, a Zafara magician in Meridell, about her creation, the Ultranova Wardrobe. "There's a magnetic field!", she joyfully proclaimed. Demonstrating, Kayla placed several vials within the illuminated wardrobe. She then attempted to remove the objects, without magic. "They're bound! Stuck! Cannot be removed! Hehe!", Kayla laughed. "The trick is you must tap the nova on the doors, five times!" Kayla closed the two doors of the lavender-pink wardrobe and knocked her right knuckles against each point of the Ultranova. "Five points of an Ultranova, five words in 'Ultra', equals five taps!" Should you wish to possess this magnetic, and light-providing wardrobe, you may purchase it for 140,000 NP. Remember, magic does not come cheap!
2. Moon Orb
Nearing the pinnacle of the list, we asked the Wise Gnorbu at his temple in Shenkuu, keeper of the Lunar Temple, to tell us what celestial item is perfect for all neohomes. After he sipped some jasmine tea, standing from a bench, he pulled a curtain to reveal an orb. "The Moon Orb is quite precious," the Gnorbu shared with us. "It does not possess any visual powers that we know of. But it is crafted from a pearl, collected from the sea of a far-off, distant spatial moon." The white pearly orb sat within a wooden cradle. Gazing into it, we listened as the Gnorbu shared, "However, there's a calming effect." He approached the orb, "When you keep this item nearby, it can relieve stress, negativity. It may sound foolish. But, I believe it gives hope that if life can exist on other moons or planets, perhaps the life here on Neopia could flourish as one too." Available as a prize from the Lunar Temple, or purchase from user shops, this item is valued at 56,000 NP.
1. Bed of Nova
And like a comet amid a heliopause, or rather, caught within cosmic winds, we have reached the end destination of our countdown. The supreme item we believe that all Neopians absolutely must have within their home, from outside Neopia, is the Bed of Nova! Visiting from their home of Virtupets, Kobab the Nova spoke with us atop Terror Mountain summit, on why this item is so special. "One night someone here on this very mountain was asleep in their bed. When during a Nova storm, one of my friends fell through the roof!" They further explained that the Nova apologized to the frightened Neopet, and decided to stay, providing illuminating light. Eventually, Neopets across Neopia gravitated toward having beds like this. Novas that fell to Neopia were collected, and agreed to offer light as the headboards of beds. Eventually, this trend spread to other Nova-themed furniture. And blankets and other fine things were Neopian-created to adorn these objects. If you're scared of the dark, or just want a friend to keep watchful company while you sleep, you can befriend the Nova Bed for 16,000 NP.
Like satellites within a spiral galaxy, this list spread across ten unique items, shared what extraplanetary treasures you can adorn your neohome with. Get saving your Neopoints and Neocash, and prepare to share with your friends and neighbours, your celebration of items from other worlds. Happy Neohoming!
