Characters Who Could Have Their Usuki Doll Versions by dinha_reeves
--------
Usukis dolls are Neopia's most beloved collectibles. They're so popular and have such a legion of fans that the dolls even have their own exclusive store to sell these little darlings: The Usukiland. These beautiful dolls come in all sorts of variations, including representations of some of the site's most famous (or not-so-famous) characters. Every year new beautiful and fun Usukis dolls are released to please their fans and collectors, but there are some characters who are so beloved and or popular but haven't yet had the honour of being represented in the version of this little doll. So here I'm going to list ten characters who could have a version of an Usuki doll: 1. Delina the Crafting Faerie I'll start with Fairy Delina, the Crafting Faerie. She made her first appearance in 2011 during the Faerie Festival. She's one of the few dark fairies who isn't evil. She loves crafts and her quest involves asking you for some NC items so that she can complete her crafts. We have practically all the faeries in their version of the doll, but she is one of the few well-known faeries who still doesn't have her version, even Kaia, who is also a faerie whose quest involves NC items, already has her version of the doll, so why don't we have a version of Delina too? She's already represented on a stamp and other NC collectibles, but I'm sure faerie lovers certainly miss a Delina Usuki doll. 2. Judge Hog The next character I bring you is the great Hero Judge Hog, a strong Moehog who is nothing more than the leader of Neopia's Defenders. With a huge emblematic N printed on his uniform and a cool mohawk, Judge Hog takes care of the whole operation by delegating missions to the other heroes when he himself is too busy fighting some other villain. Although his services haven't been in great demand lately – this just shows that Judge Hog does his job very well, as he is the main person responsible for maintaining order and peace on the streets of Neopia, – his return is still very much desired. And even though there is an Usuki inspired by the defenders of Neopia in general (Usuki Defender), there is no Usuki to pay homage to this hero himself. Who knows, maybe when the Defenders of Neopia return to active duty, a doll of him could be released as a tribute? Fingers crossed! 3. Kanrik Moving on from Heroes, let's talk about a villain-ish character. The Blue Gelert called: Kanrik. Neopia's most famous thief and leader of the Thieves Guild. His first appearance was in the Hannah and the Ice Caves plot, where he proved to be a thief with that own a good side and became Hannah's friend. After that, he also made an appearance in The Faeries' Ruin and later with his Thieves Guild in the War for the Obelisk. Kanrik is a very popular character, having appeared in several events, which is why it's so strange that there isn't an Usuki doll in his honour. He has a few plushies and collectible NC items, but there could be many more items of this character for collectors who are fanatical about this beloved thief. What's more, it would be great to have a little doll of him to pair with his good friend Hannah, who, although it doesn't bear her name on the doll, is clearly represented by the Usuki Pirate Wench. 4. Meerouladen Heermeedjet And while we're on thieves the subject, you've probably heard of this character: The Meerouladen. Or maybe you've heard of the Meerca Brothers. A pair of Meerca thieves who terrorize Neopia with their robberies. The Meerouladen is the youngest of the brothers and is distinguished by wearing a blue cap. What's more, he also considers himself the better-looking of the two. But what makes me put this character on the list is not just because he's a popular character who appears in games and has his own Neoboard avatar, but because there's an Usuki doll of his brother, Heermeedjet. Well, if the two of them are brothers who "work" together, why is there only one doll of them? This is certainly a disregard and Meerouladen also deserves to be honoured. 5. Nabile We're now going to talk about another character much loved by many Neopians: Nabile, the Queen of Qasala. She is a Pink Ixi who was initially a member of the Desert Scarabs, an underground group of thieves, but it was later discovered that she was actually descended from the royal bloodline of Sakhmet, which made her royalty. After marrying Jazan and assuming the throne as queen, Nabile helped restore the city of Sakhmet after a curse had destroyed it. Nabile is not only a queen, she is also considered a heroine. She’s a very popular character among the Neopia’s characters and even appears in the Gallery of Heroes. She has her own avatar and also appears in some of Neopia's games. An important character like this should have her tribute as an Usuki doll, right? 6. Tarla Another much-loved Ixi among Neopians is the Red Ixi who always wears a blue striped scarf, Tarla! She's well known for handing out prizes wherever she passes by, but she also has her own store on Terror Mountain, the Shop of Mystery, where Neopians can buy a mysterious item and win an avatar.
Who here doesn't look forward to the moment when Tarla passes by and thus gets a nice item from her? Well, maybe a Tarla's own Usuki dolls could be one of the gifts she leaves? Or maybe even be sold in one of her mysterious little bags? Either way, Tarla is a character who definitely deserves this tribute. 7. Gilly Let's talk about the Yellow Usul wearing a red cape and hood. Yes, I'm talking about her, Gilly! The protagonist not only of the game The Castle of Eliv Thade, but also one of the heroines of the Neovia’s plot, Tale of Woe. This clever and brave Usul is a character that many Neopians love. And yet, even though she was an established and important character in the discovery of the city of Neovia, which was forgotten for a long time, there is no Usuki doll of her. Which becomes even more absurd when we realize that there is even an Usuki doll of the mayor of Neovia, who was the great villain of the whole story. How can we pay homage to that villain with a Usuki doll, but not to Gilly, the very intelligent Usul who is always standing up to the evil Eliv Thade? She deserves a doll, especially since, despite being a famous character, there aren't many of her collectibles for fans to enjoy. 8. Governor Gavril McGill Let's talk about Governor Gavril McGill, an esteemed Pirate Krawk who lives in a wonderful mansion on Krawk Island. Not only is he the Governor of the island, but he is also a great hero, as he was one of the pets responsible for locating Krawk Island when it was dismantled by the Krawken. McGill was the one who managed to locate the island and, with the help of the Neopian population, restore it to that awesome land where the pirates of all Neopia meet. Although we have two Usuki pirate dolls (Seaworthy Usuki and Shiver Me Timbers Usuki), there is no doll that represents this important character in Neopia's history. He's also represented on seals and charms, but a doll in his honour would be pretty cool too, don’t you agree? 9. Cheryl Shelly Slushie Slinger If there's one character from Neopia who definitely deserves to be honoured with an Usuki doll, it's Cheryl Shelly, from the game Slushie Slinger. Cheryl is a red Tuskaninny who works during the Altador Cup period handing out slushies to euphoric customers. She works hard and has to put up with a lot of annoyed customers, after all, she's the only one to serve a crowd of pets, since the Altador Cup brings together pets from all over Neopia. However, she doesn't stop doing her job with a big smile on her face and, even though she may hand out the wrong slushie every now and then, she’s always very attentive to her customers. She's a character who may not be as popular as Techo Fanatic, but let's face it, the Techo already has his own avatar and all he does is cheer for his team, while Cheryl is working hard. Does she deserve it or not, guys? 10. Turmaculus And to finish it, I'm going to talk about Turmaculus, the king of Petpets! Turmarculus lives in Meridell and you'll often find him sleeping because he's eaten so much that he's grown to the point where he can't move, so he spends very little time awake and there's almost nothing in the world to make him wake up. Because of this, Turmarculus has become a very popular attraction in Meridell, with tens of hundreds of pets taking their Petpets every day to the place where Turmarculus sleeps to try and wake him up, even at the risk of him eating the poor Petpets. And if we have an Usuki of Snowager himself, who is another very popular character, but who, unlike Turmarculus, is visited by pets when he is asleep, why not have an Usuki paying homage to this great character? I'm sure that an Usuki dressed as Turmac would be extremely adorable and win all Neopia collectors' hearts. Well, there are still many other cool, popular, and beloved characters in Neopia who haven't yet received their own version of the Usuki doll, and this is just a short list of some of the options TNT might consider when creating the new Usuki dolls. Now, until we have these dolls up for sale, why don’t you pass by the Usukiland to acquire another nice and fun Usuki Doll for your pets or for your collection?
