Chemistry for Beginners Guide

by maddymar

--------

CHEMISTRY - A complicated science subject that has something to do with Formulas, molecules etc. If you are you who are not familiar with chemistry, then Chemistry For Beginners is the game for you. Surprisingly, this game is not that popular, so earning the trophy can be easy during the 1st of each month.

Introduction

The most important part of the game – what is it about. Well, this game needs you to build molecules from a limited number of atoms given to you.

Instruction

Another important of the game, because without it, you won’t know what to do. The idea is to place your atoms on the board, referring to the chart to see which molecules you want to build. For each molecule built, you will be given points. Those points are needed for you to get to the next level. There are also unstable compounds that can cause your life if you built them. You only have 1 chance to finish the game.

Atoms

In this game there are a couple of atoms given for you to build your molecules. So far I have only met 5 atoms. They are:-

1) Neopium (Np) introduced in level 1 and green in colour.

2) Tyrannium (Ty) introduced in level 2 and blue in colour.

3) Slothite (Sl) introduced in level 6 and red in colour.

4) Faeryllium (Fae) introduced in level 10 and yellow in colour.

5) Krawkite (Kr) introduced in level 14 and lavender (light purple) in colour.

Molecule Compounds

Now when you remember all the atoms needed to synthesise into each molecule, it will make it a lot faster since you won’t have to refer to the chart most of the time. Please note that you need to synthesise atoms in a straight line. Well, not exactly straight, you can bend the ends to the side or bend the whole thing to form a staircase. Either way will still get you the points. Another point to note is that you cannot synthesise compounds that have not been thought to you yet. That means that, for example, in level 5, you cannot synthesise something introduced in level 13.

1) Np + Np (Introduced in level 1 and gives 1 point)

Pretty straightforward to me. Just put 2 Neopium atoms together and you’ll get 1 point! Not recommended in the later levels as Neopium atoms will be needed to synthesise with other atoms.

2) Np + Ty + Np (Introduced in level 2 and gives 2 points)

Also not recommended in later levels as Neopium atoms will be needed to synthesise with other atoms.

3) Ty + Ty + Ty (Introduced in level 3 and gives 2 points)

Again, not recommended in later levels as this will give you less points. This is bad as compared to the next one.

4) Ty + Ty + Ty + Ty + Ty (Introduced in level 5 and gives 4 points)

This one is not so recommended, but if you have so much Tyrannium atoms, it’s recommended that you synthesize this. This actually gives 2 more points for 2 more Tyrannium atoms than the previous one.

5) Np + Sl + Sl + Np (Introduced in level 6 and gives 4 points)

Recommended to synthesise until you reach level 13 as this is the only one that Slothite atoms can be in use.

6) Sl + Sl + Sl + Sl (Introduced in level 7 and KILLS YOU)

This is one of those unstable compounds, so be sure you don’t synthesise this. You have been warned…

7) Np + Ty + Np + Ty + Np (Introduced in level 8 and gives 6 points)

Not so recommended unless you have spare Neopium atoms. Otherwise, use your Tyrannium atoms to synthesise the fourth structure. To synthesise this, place Np + Ty + *leave a gap* + Ty + Np. Then only you place a Neopium atom in the gap.

8) Np + Fae + Fae + Fae + Np (Introduced in level 10 and gives 7 points)

Highly recommended. Your Neopium atoms are to be used to synthesise this one along with Faeryllium, as Faeryllium can be used to synthesise this only.

9) Sl + Sl + Sl + Sl + Sl + Sl + Sl (Introduced in level 13 and gives 10 points)

Highly recommended since it will give you a wholesome 10 points! Careful not to put 4 of them together as it will make an unstable compound. To synthesise this, place 3 Sl together and another 3 Sl together, then place the last Slothite atom in the middle.

10) Kr + Kr (Introduced in level 14 and gives 1 point)

Not worth it. But since it can only synthesise with itself, just go for it.

As you can see, these are not the only compounds. There could be more. These are just what I have seen. It is just that I am not able to pass level 15.

Levels

In each level, you are given a limited amount of atoms. You also need a certain amount of points to get to the next level.

In level 1, you need only 1 point to pass the level and you have only 10 atoms.

In level 2, you need 5 points to pass the level and you have only 10 atoms.

In level 3, you need 10 points to pass the level and you have only 18 atoms.

In level 4, you need 15 points to pass the level and you have only 25 atoms.

In level 5, you need 20 points to pass the level and you have only 33 atoms.

In level 6, you need 20 points to pass the level and you have only 28 atoms.

In level 7, you need 25 points to pass the level and you have only 31 atoms.

In level 8, you need 35 points to pass the level and you have only 39 atoms.

In level 9, you need 40 points to pass the level and you have only 44 atoms.

In level 10, you need 45 points to pass the level and you have only 45 atoms.

In level 11, you need 50 points to pass the level and you have only 45 atoms.

In level 12, you need 55 points to pass the level and you have only 45 atoms.

In level 13, you need 60 points to pass the level and you have only 46 atoms.

In level 14, you need 65 points to pass the level and you have only 46 atoms.

In level 15, you need 80 points to pass the level and you have only 50 atoms.

Like I said before, I wasn’t able to pass level 15. That means that after level 15, things will get more difficult. By adding all the points together, you can get a MINIMUM of 526 points if you pass level 15. Please note that you can get a bonus for clearing the board when you finish the level. You can also add points by synthesizing a molecule that gives a high amount of points. For example, if you need only 1 point to pass level 13 and you synthesise a Np + Fae + Fae + Fae + Np molecule, you can earn an extra 6 points!

To end this article, I would like to wish you good luck to get the trophy. I know my guide only helps the beginning part of the game, but it still can help you, right? Either way, I still wish you good luck.
