Kelp Help by megan_dude

MARAQUA - Ah, the grand ribbon has just been cut to a new, fancy and exclusive
restaurant in Maraqua: Kelp. Kelp is filled with young and old, rich and classy
Neopians from all over. This eatery is filled with either newly weds, whether
for anniversary, a romantic date or some get-together. This fine and exotic restaurant
has several exquisite and luscious meals to drool over. They even have a photographer
if you want to remember this neat with a fancy photo album. If you want they especially
engrave it for you, but you won’t get it until a week later! I have dined here
myself previously and sampled some of their delicious feast, and I shall make
a few recommendations to those who are planning on eating there or looking for
a meal worth challenging your taste buds.
Stuffed Juicy, Lobster
This is yet but a fine dine. Indeed a juicy lobster. This lobster is piled
with meat and expensive and delicate stuffings made of Kelp Samosa and a bit
of coral cake, apple and parmesan shreds smothered with cheese all mixed together.
It is covered with several mixtures: a fine, handmade rose sauce mixed with
the finest hint of champagne and a few drops of lemon and lime juice. This is
an excellent meal and strongly recommended. I give it 4.5 shrimps out of 5
Yolk Beans
Another great and satisfying meal. The yolk beans are a heavenly egg mixture
of beans. It comes with a side of roasted tickle gum. They do not just leave
the tickle gum plain they add in a chocolatey taste around an almond, it’s stuffed
with marvellously chopped nuts, cashews and peanuts. They then leave a trail
of a secret sauce they make themselves! Sounds delicious? This meal deserves
a nice 4 out of 5 shrimps.
Sea Cucumber with stuffings
What’s this? Another meal stuffed with divine insides. The Sea Cucumbers are
picked and cooked fresh only by the finest garden in all of Maraqua. They are
stuffed with the meat of a Scrampi which has been covered with a thick and blissful
raspberry sauce. The scrampis are spread with butter, then a dab of grapefruit
juice and the raspberry sauce only gives it a touch of glory. A fine dish for
a fine person. Give this plate an excellent 3.9 out of 5.
Boiled Maraquan Gumbo
This here is one of my ultimate favourite. They boil the ripe, juicy gumbos
(so you won’t have trouble eating it “alive”) then they lightly chop it into
pieces. They serve it in a neat, silver bowl with lettuce underneath, grapes,
olives, some coral beef, chopped Escargots and carrots cut into a specific design
and all hidden under cherry juice with actual cherry pieces! This dish picked
up a nice 4 out of 5.
Coral Reef Salad
For anyone who is a vegetarian you will love this. The salad contains lettuce,
cherry tomatoes, Maraquan pickles, pineapples, grapes, cherries, mandarin pieces,
Seaweed, Samosa and Kelp. They’re picked from gardens grown by the chefs and
then they drop a sauce of your choice on it. Give this 3.5 out of 5.
Homemade Spaghetti soup
This soup here has the most drool-worthy smell, but is it actually worth smelling?
The answer is: Yes it is. It has a stretchy, long noodle, squid pieces, some
urchin spikes for flavouring, a gummy starfish for decoration and fish eggs.
I’d say a nice 3.5 out of 5
Stuffed Sea Serpent
Here they choose a long, exotic sea serpent and serve it with fruits, scallops,
clams, crab, fish and lobster meat all inside of it. This dish has a surprisingly
yummy and chicken-like taste. They give you a choice of sauce to go with it:
BBQ, Honey Garlic, Honey, Caramel or Raspberry. Of course I had to sample all
of them. Personally my favourite was Caramel and, Honey and Raspberry but I
recommend all of them! I’ll be taking this meal home to eat! Bon Appetit! Let’a
give it a 4.5 out of 5
Fruit Platter
Open up! This is a cool, neat dish for dessert! They serve this on a silver
platter and it comes with a variety of fruits. They put the fruits on some lettuce
and then they have it in order like this: grapes, cantaloupes, pineapple, apple,
pear, raspberry, cherry, grapefruit, orange and mandarin slices! They put it
in a neat circle then they make an outer layer with it! Neat huh? This picked
up a nifty 4 out of 5.
Chocolate Cream Shell
Have a sweet tooth? Then you’ll definitely want to try this! A chocolate snail
shell is made of white, dark and light chocolate with nuts inside them with
a choice of your ice cream and sauce with whip cream and a cherry on top. Can
you say ‘Yummy’? Since I have two sweet tooths maybe a 5 out of 5?
Well that’s my recommendations, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading my reviews and
hopefully you’ll be lucky enough to get a reservation for you are your sweet-cheeks
date! Don’t forget, leave room for dessert!
Creme-de-la-Creme
Now this is what I call heaven! This pie is filled with the richest and creamiest
cream of them all! They mix raspberry, cherry, strawberry and vanilla into this
little blender and make it a filling! They then cover whip cream on top, put
it in the crust, cook it and they serve it with chocolate ice cream! If you
don’t want it in pie form you can also request it in a cup, kind of like a slush
form. Give this 4.5 out of 5 shrimps!
