--------
Do you yearn for more trophies, but aren't good enough at the games to get them? Do you stare longingly at high-score tables, wishing your name was on there? Do you wish there was some way to get a trophy that wouldn't require a high score? Well then, you have come across the right guide! I have listed seventeen, yes SEVENTEEN, trophies that you can get without a high score! What are these trophies, you ask?#1: Cheat!
Medal: N/A Bronze: Victory in round 3 Silver: Victory in round 5 Gold: Victory in round 7 This game is VERY easy to win at, and best of all there's NO LIMIT to the amount of NP that you can win per day, so if you lose a round you can keep playing it over and over until you win! It's best not to cheat unless you have to. #2: Kacheekers
Medal: N/A Bronze: Victory in week 2 Silver: Victory in week 3 Gold: Victory in week 4 This game is exactly like checkers. Often you can get this trophy for just showing up and "move or losing" your opponent. #3: Beating Punchbag Bob
Medal: N/A Bronze: N/A Silver: N/A Gold: Battledome victory
All you need for this trophy is a pet and some weapons. Battle Punchbag Bob (he has 5000 HP... yes, 5000!) and win. The battle MUST end before midnight NST or you won't get the trophy! Perseverance is the key here. #4: Defenders of Neopia Series 1
Medal: N/A Bronze: N/A Silver: N/A Gold: N/A This one's easy. Just beat the Pant Devil in the Battledome and you will add a shiny new trophy to your trophy cabinet! You can fight more opponents after the Pant Devil to get a better trophy, but if you just want a trophy, then the Pant Devil is good enough. #5: Defenders of Neopia Series 2
Medal: N/A Bronze: N/A Silver: N/A Gold: N/A Defeat Mr. Chuckles in the Battledome for this one. As with the other DoN trophy, you can fight more opponents to get a better trophy, but a win over Mr. Chuckles is good for a single trophy. #6: NeoQuest I
Medal: N/A Bronze: Beat the game on Normal mode Silver: Beat the game on Evil mode Gold: Beat the game on Insane mode Unfortunately, I don't have any tips for this game as it is much too long to explain in this article. Several petpages, however, have guides on NeoQuest I, so ask around! This is a lengthy game, but hey, you want a trophy, don't you? *wink* #7: NeoQuest II
Medal: N/A Bronze: Beat the game on Normal mode Silver: Beat the game on Evil mode Gold: Beat the game on Insane mode I don't have any tips for this one either, as it is much like NeoQuest I. It, too, is quite lengthy, but a trophy is a trophy is a trophy, after all! #8: Snow Wars I
Medal: N/A Medal: Victory in round 2 Bronze: Victory in round 5 Silver: Victory in round 7 Gold: Victory in round 10
Try every OTHER spot. When you're done with that, it should be pretty easy to find the single-space targets. #9: Altador Plot
Medal: N/A Bronze: N/A Silver: N/A Gold: Complete the plot Erm, I haven't actually finished the plot yet, so I can't give tips on it. It is quite lengthy anyways. #10: Kadoatery
Medal: N/A Bronze: Feed 1 Kadoatie Silver: Feed 10 Kadoaties Gold: Feed 25 Kadoaties Avatar: Feed 75 Kadoaties Go to the Kadoatery, and refresh until the Kadoaties want new food. Then you have to be quick enough to feed one of them what they are asking for. The first Kadoatie is the hardest, so keep trying! #11: Lucky Space Faerie Charm
Medal: N/A Bronze: N/A Silver: N/A
Gold: Refer two people to Premium
You must have Premium Neopets in order to get this trophy. Refer two people who sign up and PAY AT LEAST ONCE. Then you will get this trophy. It randomly doubles your NP payout from games. #12: Cellblock
Medal: Beat Tournament 1, Level 4 Bronze: Beat Tournament 1, Level 8 Silver: Beat Tournament 11, Level 4 Gold: Beat Tournament 11, Level 8 Just keep using mainly the same moves each time for the first few tournaments, and have patience. #13: Pyramids
Medal: N/A Bronze: Clear the pyramid two times Silver: Clear the pyramid five times Gold: Clear the pyramid two times in a row Not much to say on this one except it takes luck, lots of time, and patience.
#14: Sakhmet Solitaire
Medal: N/A Bronze: Clear the board two times Silver: Clear the board five times Gold: Clear the board two time in a row. Again, you need luck, time, and patience for this one. It's better to draw three cards at a time instead of one, too, because you can get to the cards you need faster. #15: Geos
Medal: N/A Bronze: Victory in week 2 Silver: Victory in week 3 Gold: Victory in week 4 Make the four shapes. DON'T combine two shapes; that's an instant loss. You can often get this just for showing up and "move or losing" your opponent. #16: Armada
Medal: N/A Bronze: Victory in week 2 Silver: Victory in week 3 Gold: Victory in week 4 A good start, and having pieces sealed off helps greatly. NEVER give up in this game! No matter how many boats you are down, it can turn around quickly! You can often get this just for showing up and "move or losing" your opponent. #17: Go! Go! Go!
Medal: N/A Bronze: Victory in round 2 Silver: Victory in round 5 Gold: Victory in round 8
Try to keep some of your most useful cards, for example: 10s, 2s, and Aces. It's best to play the lowest card possible, too.
So there you have it: seventeen trophies you DON'T need a high score to get. You may be thinking "Wow! That's going to be a TON of work!" and you're right. It's rare to get every trophy on the first try. I've been trying to feed ONE Kadoatie for about three months now, and just got the Lucky Space Faerie Charm after four months of being a Premium member. But hey, what's life without challenges? ;) And remember, for most of these games, you get NP as well as trophies! It's a win-win situation here! Just pick a few trophies you want to earn, and don't stop playing that game until you have it! Then pick some more trophies and so on. Soon you will have a cabinet full of trophies, and then you can take a stab at the high score ones!
But then, of course, I'll probably have to write a guide on those.
