Trophy Adventuring by kidagakash_nedakh

Have you ever visited someone’s user-lookup and been awed by all the shiny
medals and trophies? Did you drool over your keyboard and stare at the person’s
username jealously? Well, wipe off that drool and start staring at this article
because I’ll show you how to win the top five easiest trophies!
In all my time of playing Neopets, I’ve never been much of a trophy collector.
In fact, my cabinet was gathering so much dust that a new Neopet could have
been created from that mess. That pet would have been called the Dustbunny,
a distant relative of the Cybunny. Ha, ha, ha! I’m so funny! Don’t you think?
:-D
Anyway, one day a friend of mine was showing off two newly won trophies so
I decided to give her some friendly competition and start filling my own trophy
cabinet. Little did I know it would be so addicting! Thus, the following statement
MUST be read.
CAUTION:
Collecting medals and/or trophies can be hazardous to your health!
Also note that there is no real cure for the addiction!
Now that that’s out of the way, onto the exciting part: collecting! By the
end of this article, you will learn what kinds of determination you’ll need
to win the much sought after champion trophies of Cheat, Punchbag Bob, Snow
Wars, Cellblock and Go! Go! Go! So let’s do what the Tyrannian game says and
GO!
By popular vote, the game Cheat is the easiest (and fastest) way to win a championship
trophy. Those who don’t agree, here’s a big tip: just because you’re playing
with a bunch of cheaters does not mean that you have to cheat! So always try
to prevent having to cheat because if you don’t, who knows if someone will catch
you and make you pick up the pile. Just be true to yourself and catch other
cheaters before your turn so you can win that champion trophy! Hint, hint: not
calling someone a cheater even though you know that player just cheated blatantly
may benefit you in the long run. *wink, wink* ;-D
To win the Punchbag Bob champion trophy, you need to beat Bob in the arena.
Sounds simple, doesn’t it? Well, it is that simple. Only equip your pet with
decent weapons. The more powerful they are, the sooner Bob is defeated. Not
much of a fighter? Don’t worry! Bob is an even worse fighter because he can’t
hurt you! Reports have been made that some winners took a little over two hours
to win and others spent only fifteen minutes before Bob crumpled at their pet’s
paws/fins. It mostly depends on the weapons your pet is using, so be prepared!
Not only will you need decent weapons, you’ll also need patience to win this
trophy.
The point of Snow Wars is just to have fun as the next frozen snowball smashes
into your face. But to win the trophy, you’ll need to learn how to use what
I like to call LCS to your advantage. What exactly is LCS? Well, it’s an acronym
for the name of my strategy. LCS stands for Luck and Common Sense. When you
start playing, the little boxes with all the question marks can be daunting.
I have pulled my hair out and the hair of my own pets when trying to decide
which question mark to click on! But knowing what not to click when searching
for a certain object to hit is where the common sense part of my strategy comes
into use. Hoping to click on the right question mark is all luck, baby. To win
the champion trophy, it can take two hours to a couple of days, depending on
how well you play and understand your opponents.
Cellblock is possibly one of the easiest games but it is so well disguised
by the strings of matches, levels and tournaments that not many Neopians realize
the simplicity of the game from the start. The goal is to get five of your game
pieces in a row (vertical, horizontal or diagonal) and you win the match! To
win the champion trophy, you’ll need to devise a foolproof strategy that’ll
advance you the next level, but be warned! The game can rub hard on your nerves
after a while, so it might take two hours to two weeks to win the trophy, depending
on your fondness of the game and your steely nerves.
I’ve heard many a cry that Go! Go! Go! is too hard a game to win a champion
trophy. Believe me when I say that it’s not. Whoever claims the game is too
hard, gives up too easily. To win the game, you’ll need LCS. (Oooh, it came
back!) The game is mostly luck but common sense does have a use; try to make
the other players pick up the pile and note the cards that are shown in their
Face Ups to use it to your advantage!
Well, that’s it! Wait! Ahhh! *dodges a whizzing snowball* It may seem like
winning five trophies is nothing and so you must conclude that this guide is
useless, but winning these trophies is just the tip of the iceberg! *dodges
a huge rock of ice* Hey! Who threw that?!?!?!?! Fine! I’ll give away one more
secret.
Think back on all those times when you played a game, sent your score and checked
that game’s hi-score table. Have you felt discouraged by the much larger score
posted up there? Have you felt as if you won’t ever be good enough to win a
trophy for that game? Well, there’s no point in feeling that way anymore because
even no-talented game players like me (hehe) can win that trophy!
Here’s how to do it! On the first of every month, the Neopets Team refreshes
the hi-score tables for all the games. You can use this opportunity to be amongst
the first to play a game and send in your scores. Hopefully, that score will
be posted and you’ll be awarded a trophy! Sooner or later, others will replace
you on the table and you’ll be knocked off the list but once you’ve won that
trophy, you’ll always have it!
Before you attempt to win a trophy for your favorite game on the first of next
month, remember this: the best offense is the best defense. This means that
you should play the game for an hour everyday for practice and as soon as the
first of the month appears, you’ll use all your practice to your advantage.
It’ll improve your chances of winning that trophy!
Now that you know all I know about winning your first five trophies PLUS how
to win a trophy for games like Meerca Chase II, Destruct-O-Match and Whack-a-Staff-Member
(I’ll get you, you evil staff members!), use it! That’s right. Go out there
and start using what you’ve learned to win!
Soon you’ll have ten, twenty, thirty trophies! And with all the new trophies
and medals that adorn your cabinet, the first five trophies you’ve won will
bring tears of joy to your eyes as you remember that they were the beginning
of a great adventure! Have fun and good luck!
