Neopia’s Most and Least Fashionable Krawks! by spukl1
--------
In our lovely land of Neopia, we have many folks with great style, but with every super stylish Neopian, there tends to be an equal and opposite…. Those that are a fashion faux-pas! I am Miss Prickles, the ever-fashionable Uni, and this week’s fashion report rounds up the fashion files of some of Neopia’s most elusive creatures: Krawks. Towering over almost every other Neopet, with scales galore and a flowing crest, Krawks always make you stop and stare. All of our Krawk friends, originally hailing from the Island itself, have a bit of pirate in them, but many of their styles have evolved as they have traveled out into our world. It has worked out well for some, but others not so much. Now without further ado, I present to you… Neopia’s Best Dressed Krawks: 1. Governor Gavril McGill . I bet you could have all guessed that this Krawk would top the list. He is always looking spiffy and ready for business. A true governor and lover of his land, he exhibits a classy pirate style. He wears a practical pirate shirt and pants but reveals his status with elevated accents, such as his floor length red and gold jacket and a captain’s hat. He lets his hair flow beautifully down his back looking clean and healthy, which is all the rage on the Island. Governor McGill gives off the “important and busy”, yet “approachable and relaxed” vibes with his style and that balance is why he gets an A++. 2. Krawk Shaman . You all know by now that I love a good fashion risk, and the Shaman is a great example of a risk that works oh so well. While the Krawk Shaman’s feather accessories, body paint, nose piercing, furry coat and fringed accents do not exactly scream “Krawk Island Pirate” that is exactly what we love about it. He stays true to himself, oozing confidence as he wears his personality from head to toe. While I love every single piece of his outfit, I must say my favorite part is the nose piercing. From living on Mystery Island, he has adapted to their styles, and morphed it to perfection! The Krawk Shaman is my choice for best dressed Krawk in Neopia. 3. Lady Frostbite . I *clap* love *clap* this *clap* lady’s *clap* style *clap clap clap*. I also love the way she became ruler of the Darblats but that’s a different story… Her style is just soooo ~Taelia gone rock star~. Let’s go through it. First of all, the hair crest, fantastic! I love the blue streaks and how she gets it to be so long and flat, almost defying gravity. Next, we hit her pendant, a girl’s got to have her jewels, approved. Then, my favorite part, her two-piece coordinating set. The tube top is simple but chic and the bottoms have just a hint of spikes which makes her fierceness shine. Let us not forget her matching fingerless gloves, with toeless socks too, a great way to stay warm. Finally, her tail ribbon… always a crowd favorite. Overall, it is just wonderful, just faboo, Lady Frostbite, you rule! 4. Space Krawk . This Krawk is out of this world! The pink crest is just edgy enough to show-off in space. I will say, this space suit is one of my favorite in all of Neopia. It is classic, white and gold with a simple celestial star, it is sophisticated and understated. I would love to see more little Krawks in space, and all of them in this exact outfit. 5. Maraquan Sergeant . I do love a good uniform. Hailing from Maraqua, this Krawk has all of the underwater pride, and it is worn on his scales. The ever-intimidating armor is in a lovely Maractite pattern (my favorite!). Accented with gloves for fighting and a very sharp weapon, minimal effort is needed for the Maraquan Sergeant to look this good. A perfect example of a Krawk style that has been influenced by another faboo land. Neopia’s Worst Dressed Krawks 1. Krawk Braggart . I know that the pirate look is in on this island, but it is just a little too scrappy. A striped top and blue bottom are a staple for a Krawk, but Krawk Braggert, you need to freshen up. Just buy the same thing, maybe accent it with a red neck scarf and will be a great looking pirate again. Also, think about allowing your crest to grow to a flow like the Governor. 2. Mr. Krawkley . I just don’t like it. I can’t put my hoof on what exactly I dislike about the while outfit but it makes me itchy. I think it is the pants. Perhaps simpler bottoms, I’d suggest Basic Black Trousers. Also, lose the neck tie and top hat and perhaps you will be chic on the streets because I do always love a dark purple jacket. One more suggestion: Baby Pink Contacts, it would make you look so much kinder! 3. Krawk Card . This thief does not have bad style, it is just boring. He could use a slight upgrade. You’re in the jungle! Put on a Florida Cardigan and Shirt along with a pair of Khaki Roll-up Trousers and your look would go from blah to bold ! 4. Krawvin . The no-outfit-outfit works for many Neopians, but Krawvin, it is not working for you. Maybe it is a little daring but I would love to see you in a Nuranna Bite Bathing Suit, it would be absolutely adorable!! It would be nostalgic of your glory days as a wee little petpet. Give it a chance and let me know how you feel. If that is too much, how about staying true to your land by wearing a Scurvy Pirate Jacket and accessorize with Ships Barometer?! 5. Sorry my furry friends, but there is no other Krawk on the worst dressed list! Surprised? I am not, I can never be mad at the pirates for embracing their own style, so there is not much more to criticize for these creatures. It is for the best, I promise. Well Neopia, feel free to weigh in on my picks for the best and worst dressed Krawks. Who will be on the list next week? You’ll just have to wait and see. Stay faboo. Fashionably yours, Miss Prickles
