 Species Customization: Skeith

In celebration of Skeith Day, I am taking a look at their species specific outfits and dressing up these strong giants in a variety of ways. They have mainly masculine sets, but for several of them I have made suggestions to how you can alter the look to suit your female Skeith. Let`s open up the closet and take a look at how you can make your Skeith look their very best! A feast fit for a Skeith 
Items used: Loafer Skeith Wig Skeith Bib Skeith Cutlery Inside TNTs Breakroom Refrigerator Background Blue Striped Pyjamas Noil Costume Slippers Straw Mat Celebration Crumbs For a female look, try Spring Picnic Dress or Cupcake Pyjamas. The Loafer wig is from a female wearable set, but can also be worn by males, as seen in this example. Also consider Glamourous Skeith Wig for a feminine look. It`s a well-known fact, both amongst Skeith owners, but also most Neopians, that Skeiths love food! They`re gluttonous and will eat almost anything – they can even eat items right out of your inventory! By using accessories like the cutlery and the bib I created a hungry Skeith sneaking downstairs for a midnight snack – or a midnight feast. The Straw Mat adds extra detail and can serve as sort of a picnic blanket. The yellow triangular details on the cutlery resemble the Skeiths tail spike and the Noil slippers pick up the colour from the cutlery as well as the Skeiths spikes and wings. Diner Dash 
Glamourous Skeith Wig, Dress, Shoes Fluffy Skeith Eyeshadow Kitchen Skeith Necklace Loafer Skeith Spectacles Retro Dining Tray Sock Hop Diner Background Magnificent Milkshakes Sticking with the food theme, here is a vintage look for your female Skeith with a glamourous vibe! Your Skeith will feel right at home and comfortable in these surroundings, with a healthy helping of food on their tray and a wide selection of snacks and drinks on the menu. I`ve added the spectacles, eyeshadow and pearl necklace from other wearable sets to give this Skeith a more mature look, the glasses and necklace can both be removed for a more youthful appearance. The Valentine Cafe Background paired with the Milkshake Counter Foreground is also a great look with a more cute style if you`re not a fan of the overall retro vibe. Items used: Skeith Hair Stylist Shirt, Trousers, Comb and Scissors Skeith Bouncer Shoes Old School Barber Shop Background Glistening Short Hair Pretty Mirror with Faerie Lights Barber Shop Pole The hair stylist outfit is one that gives you limited options to work with. The wig and trousers might be used in other customizations, but the shirt and accessories really only make sense in the setting of a stylist/hairdresser. To change this into a female look, use the Simple Black Skirt in place of the trousers, they actually end up looking quite similar. I used Skeith Back to School Shoes and Glamourous Skeith Wig to create my feminine version, and obviously I kept the shirt, scissors and comb to keep the proper hairdresser/stylist look. Also try: Neopies Dressing Room Background. Skeith Hair Stylist Wig (obviously part of the set, but couldn`t resist using the sparkly, glistening wig!) Greaser Hairdo and Suave Hair are also good choices for your male hair stylist.
Farm Life

Skeiths are known to be on the lazy side, but if they`re living on a farm, they can`t afford to lie around! For a female look, use Tied Bandana Wig and Premium Collectible: Red Gingham Top with Spring Overalls and Cute Brown Boots. A good alternative is to pair Kau Kau Farms Background with Premium Collectible: Wheat Field Foreground to make it look like your Skeith farmer is harvesting grain. Other farm-themed backgrounds include Mr. Scarys Hideout Collectors Background and Little Babaa Shepherdess Background. Items used: Skeith Space Station Security Officer Hat, Gloves, Boots, Trousers Maractite Marvels Collectors Armoured Top MiniMME12-B: Maractite Shoulder Armour Magical Maractite Sword Altador Cup Colosseum Interior Background Altador Cup Colosseum Archway River Rocks Foreground The bright symbols on the shirt of the uniform made me think of Maraquan runes, which is what lead me to make an outfit combining most of the items from the Space Station Security Officer set with Maractite warrior pieces. I tried using a few different Maraquan backgrounds, but none of them were really working with this ensemble, so finally I turned this warrior Skeith into a gladiator! Items used: Skeith Space Station Security Officer Hat, Shirt, Trousers, Boots, Gloves Giant Laser Garland Sparkler Gun MiniMME21-B: Spaceship Hall Interior Background Virtupets Caution Tape Foreground Here in the full Space Station Security Officer ensemble, your Skeith is on duty on the space station making sure the security is top notch. There are several cool space themed backgrounds for you to choose from, I used this one because it gives the feeling of being part of a larger area, such as a space station rather than a space ship. It looks like there are long hallways for your Skeith to patrol. He also needed to hold something, and the Sparkler Gun is nice and discreet, plus it even matches his outfit! Items used: Skeith Weightlifter Moustache, Tunic, Cuffs, Barbell, Boots Brown Tapered Wig Fair Vendors Background Camping at the Altador Cup Special Event Foreground This strong Skeith is preparing for the big show in the big tent and is already drawing impressed looks from the crowd! This set is perfect for customizations themed around the circus, stage or fairground. You can also use a background themed around training or the gym, so this is another set that is fairly limited, yet you do have some options to vary the setting of the look. Items used: Skeith Sweeper Hat, Gloves, Broom, Jacket, Shirt, Trousers and Shoes. MiniMME17-B: Evening Rooftop Background Fancy Wrought Iron Lamp Smoke Cloud Profession-based outfits can be really cool, but they can also be very limiting in terms of customization and using an outfit in various ways and settings. Being a chimney sweep, this Skeith's clothes are all spotted and dirty, making it difficult to re-purpose them for different looks. Also try: On the Roof Background, Rooftop Gargoyles Background. Once Upon a Time Swirl of Magic Portal to the Unknown Trying to think outside the box and be creative is an important (and fun!) aspect of customization, and in this example I drew on the theme of gears and machines to make the Skeith a time traveller. Magic and science, adventure and logic blend together in this look. If you remove the goggles and jacket, the shirt and trousers is well suited for daywear for a working Neovian Skeith, I would suggest changing up the shoes however. Tinkerer

Clock Makers Workshop Moltara Inventors Work Table MAGAXs Menacing Sledgehammer In this version I made the Tinkerer Skeith into a clockmaker, something which makes sense considering the gears featured on his outfit and his goggles. This set lends itself well to Steampunk-inspired customizations, so make sure to look up Moltaran items, I have listed some suggestions below.
