Chocolate-y Petpets That Are Too Cute to Eat!

     Chocolate Petpets are exclusive to the Petpet Laboratory, and since zapped Petpets revert back to their original state when removed from the pet, it is impossible to actually "own" any of these lab exclusive colours. So forget about collecting these to display in your gallery, but hopefully, my list will bring a smile to your face because these Chocolate Petpets are indeed too cute to eat!

     At number 10, we have the Chocolate Noil! The Chocolate Noil is a cute little creature drenched in what looks to me like melting white chocolate, covered with a fistful of rainbow sprinkles. Its eyes are also made out of what looks to be little red candied cherries (yum!), and it looks like an absolute treat. Although extremely cute, it just looks a little too sweet for my liking and falls back in last place on my list.

     Next up, we have the Chocolate Babyca taking the 9th spot on this list. The Chocolate Babyca, just like the Chocolate Noil, has little red eyes that look like they're made out of little candied cherries. It's topped with just a good amount of caramel and what looks like powdered sugar, making it another creature that looks just a little too sweet. It has an edge over the Chocolate Noil because it looks like an adorable little chocolate truffle, and who doesn't love a good chocolate truffle?

     Now we have the Chocolate Harris at a respectable number 8! These little creatures remind me of an actual real-life chocolate treat (if you know it, you know it!) The very subtle extra coating of chocolate and rainbow sprinkles on its head gives it a very understated cuteness. It doesn't look like it's overly sweet, unlike the first two Chocolate Petpets on this list, so that's a win in itself.

     We're nearing the halfway mark now, so bear with me as we look at the Chocolate Powtry, who comes in at number 7 on this list. I mean, come on! The Powtry is one of my favourite Petpets in all of Neopia, and the chocolate variant is no different. I cannot get over how adorable this little thing looks with its little whipped cream top hat. The Chocolate Powtry is truly the definition of "too cute to eat" because those little eyes really know how to pull at the heartstrings *squeals*

     At the middle of the list, we have the Chocolate Zebie coming in at number 6. The Chocolate Zebie has some cool-looking details that you might have missed - it has a nice little pattern on its chest! The chocolatier who came up with the Chocolate Zebie definitely put some extra effort and thought into the overall look of this cute little creature, giving it an understated exquisite look which is totally deserving!

     At number 5, we have another Petpet that looks like it belongs in a box of chocolate truffles - the Chocolate Kookith! Since this is a list of Chocolate Petpets that are too cute to eat, we don't actually know what the Chocolate Kookith is made out of, but if I had to guess, I would imagine it to be made out of oozy salted caramel and chopped peanuts. I am against eating Petpets, so if you can't resist yourself with the Chocolate Kookith, there is another item, "Chocolate Kookith Cake", which is an edible baked good. Disclaimer: no actual Petpets were harmed in the making of this chocolate cake.

     I love chocolate truffles, so it should be no surprise that the Petpet that comes in at number 4 is another one that looks like it belongs in a box of chocolates. We have here, the Chocolate Xampher. I know this one has a huge dollop of whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles up top, which makes it look too sweet, but there's something about that goofy smile on a Xampher. Although Xamphers are known to be mischievous, and gnaw upon anything it comes across, this little furball is one that is just too cute to eat, even if it means getting chewed on by this little guy. You know what they say, "eat or be eaten" *gulps*

     We've come to the moment we've all been waiting for - the top 3 Chocolate Petpets! If all this talk about Chocolate Petpets has got you feeling hungry, go grab a snack and/or a mug of hot chocolate before you proceed with the last 3 Petpets on this list. Go on, I'll wait. Are you good? Let's proceed!

     At number 3, we have the Chocolate Weewoo! You didn't think this list would be without the mascot of the Neopian Times, now did you? Cute ruby eyes, a small amount of whipped cream topped with a nice little red cherry, and some white chocolate designs on its chest! The Chocolate Weewoo looks like a good balance of flavours, and not overly sweet. It is also aesthetically pleasing, which helps it secure its spot in the top 3.

     Moving on to number 2, we have the Chocolate Rock. This Petpet doesn't even look like it's trying! It's literally just a ball of chocolate topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. It is, after all, just a pet rock... So it does its job well, let's give it that. Bonus points because it does look like it would be a tasty little treat. I would personally imagine a little macadamia nut inside it!

     And finally, we have the Chocolate Candychan taking the top spot at number 1! I mean, it's a no-brainer, right? The Candychan has the word "candy" in its name! I refuse to believe that its wings are made out of whipped cream because whipped cream wouldn't hold up its shape like that... So let's just say that its wings are made out of meringue. Its body also has a dual tone, suggesting that it is made out of both milk and dark chocolate, which helps reduce its sweetness level and increases its healthiness level :P The Candychan is one of the most coveted Petpets in Neopia, and its chocolate variant is no different.

     There you have it, that was my top 10 personal favourites for Chocolate Petpets. Hopefully, this list didn't make you too hungry as you were reading it. I would be lying if I said it didn't make me hungry writing it (and it's past midnight here)!
