Quote of the Week

Axanzo, the yellow Lupe, panted heavy breaths as he staggered up the steep hill overlooking Neopia Central. The sound of his breathing hushed the endless chatter of the shopping square crowds behind him. When he reached the top, he hunched forward with his hands on his knees and gasped for air. The series of raspy breaths annoyed a green Peophin lying on his stomach with his chin nestled in the crux of his elbows.

Staying cozy in a Terror Mountain blizzard

Whether you are a Mystery Islander and looking to make the most of a real snowy winter weekend trip, or just a Terror Mountain resident getting exhausted by those short dark days and long cold nights, I have some insider tips for you on how to make the most out of these last few (seemingly endless) months of winter lying ahead of us.

Cumulative trophies: Are they really impossible?

Cumulative trophies are widely known in Neopia for being awarded to a small dedicated elite, most of them veterans players, but, are they really out of your league? For many trophy collectors, or just casual card game players, cumulative trophies look like a brick wall too intimidating to even consider possible to overcome.

A SPOOKY GUIDE OF GHOST BOPPER

Imagine yourself making a great walk on the Haunted Woods after a great and smart talk with the Brain Tree or a amazing adventure getting items to Edna. Everything looks great when you find a giant graveyard. It’s not possible to be the games graveyard, after all you passed by him on the way. You approach really slow of the gate and read on the top: petpets cemetery. That's impossible, no neopian has talked about this place, maybe I am the first to find it!

"Faerie Fables – Mira the Space Faerie" by devotedly
Mira giggled as she grabbed the apple and banana out of the fruit bowl and placed them into her backpack, it was a pleasant accompaniment to the two cheese sandwiches, she had already packed. She would stop by the NeoCola machine on her way to meet her friend. Checking her pockets for the two tokens and being satisfied upon finding them, she tugged the backpack onto her back and headed for the door. “Mira, where are you going dear?” Mira began to frown, her mother Nepula had interrupted her as she was about to exit the family home. “Oh, you know, nowhere really mother” Mira replied with her cheesiest smile. Nepula gave a smile back, her age was beginning to show but she was growing old with grace. “Well, you be careful my sweet, the kingdom awaits your return”. Mira nodded “I will be safe mother, I promise” she answered, crossing her fingers behind her back as to not show the lie she was telling. She quickly closed the door and breathed a sigh of relief, if her mother knew she was hanging out with Francis she would never see anything but the 4 walls of her bedroom until it was her time to take the throne!

"At Your Brilliance" by weewoowriter
Axanzo, the yellow Lupe, panted heavy breaths as he staggered up the steep hill overlooking Neopia Central. The sound of his breathing hushed the endless chatter of the shopping square crowds behind him. When he reached the top, he hunched forward with his hands on his knees and gasped for air. The series of raspy breaths annoyed a green Peophin lying on his stomach with his chin nestled in the crux of his elbows. “Out of all the places,” said Axanzo, failing to finish his sentence in favor of taking in long breaths from the refreshing breeze gracing the hilltop. Dravneel nuzzled his chin deeper into his arms. “You didn’t have to look for me.” With his lungs cooled down with the crisp air, Axanzo straightened his back with shoulders relaxed. He stepped right in front of Dravneel’s view. Against the sun, all the green Peophin could see was a dark silhouette of tall and sinewy Lupe. “Our owner said he finished shopping.” Axanzo ducked down to meet the eye level of his moping friend, close enough for Dravneel to feel the yellow Lupe’s warm breath wafting against his forehead. “And we’re not leaving without you.”

"Three of a kind:Part Two" by rkbear
"Don’t worry about it, Goo,” Ash replied, shaking his head, and earning frown from Steel. “Bellsamy what are you going on about?” “Didn’t you ask Scarlet what happened to her after you got separated?” Bellsamy sighed, standing up and opening a cupboard. She set a stack of plates on the table. “Well, no, but, well you didn’t give me the chance!” He protested. “Well, that’s hardly my fault, how long did you think I was going to keep Goo entertained, and any way, we could hear you loud and clear, you two haven’t changed at all,” Bellsamy sighed. “I don’t remember much,” Scarlet interjected. “Steel, remembers more, he was with my mom when they find me. All I remember was it was warm…” “Warm?” Ash and Steel asked in unison. They looked at each other for a moment before Steel continued. “It was the middle of winter,” Steel said. “Mom had brought us there for month of celebration. She thought it would be fun. Then I heard someone calling my name and we found you in the hollow of tree. You were snoring.” Steel chuckled at the memory. “I don’t miss that,” Ash joked.
