Quote of the Week
Getting lost in Neovia hadn't been your brightest idea. Even years after the curse had lifted, the lack of sunlight still sent a shiver down your spine as you struggled to get your bearings. Maybe it was just the absence of stars in the sky and overabundance of dead, twisting trees, but you'd found yourself stumbling through the streets like something undead yourself, gripped by a ferocious sense of unease by every cottage and citizen you passed. You shudder to think of the tailor's leering glass eye behind his dusty monocle, and recall with dread the unnaturally wide grin of the absurdly-named crumpetmonger. No, there was something unsettling about this place, you'd be sure to tell your friends when you were seated safely back in Neopia Central with a warm mug of hot chocolate and the hustle of ordinary folks all around. Something not quite right. Better to be left undisturbed.
Indie's Tips For Starting a Gallery
Have you always wanted to start your own gallery but you’ve never been quite sure where to start or what to fill it with? Well I, Indie, a self-proclaimed gallery expert *cough cough* am here to give you some tips on doing just that! I myself have 2 galleries, one on my main account, it is Christmas themed and is size 48 at the time of writing this which means it can hold up to 240 items. However on my side account I have a very small, limited gallery where I collect perfumes, colognes, fur sprays and other things to do with scent. That gallery is only size 4 currently which can hold 20 items. I’ll be referencing both of my galleries throughout this article! |
How To Make The Most Of Late Summer in Neopia
As we move into August, the end of summer starts to come into view. We can see the point on the calendar where we have to go back to school, our family vacations long behind us. But just because the end of summer is approaching doesn't mean the fun is over. Summer doesn't actually end until Sept. 23—there's still a lot of time to make the most of the last few months of the season.
Worried that you've spent all of your best summer fun ideas over the first months of summer? That's where I come in. |
| Form Your Beauty Routine
I constantly tell my pets, “Don’t forget to follow the beauty routine I wrote down!” You see, I didn’t spend thousands of neopoints on morphing potions and paint brushes for my pets to neglect their beauty regimen! Facial care is very important and should be promoted to our pets daily. |

"The Sisters of Pillar Grove:Part Seven
" by blueys45 Wingen and the others watched in awe. Yet merely “awe” did not feel sufficient enough to describe the way Pillar Grove's tree appeared to gain a will of its own.
The wood had such a hold of Lumberjack that it remained suspended in the air even though it was pushed away from the pillar itself. Its mandibles twitched as they struggled to operate. Eventually, it managed to bite through the wood before its jaws could be bound as well. Lumberjack fell, taking out two walkways below it. The third buckled under the robot's weight, but remained attached to the pillars as Lumberjack laid on it. The remainder of the wood on Lumberjack's head covered up its front windows. But detached from the tree, the wood became surprisingly brittle, as Lumberjack's tail bent forward and ripped it off with ease. Lumberjack scrambled to regain its footing and return to the pillar. |
"Chronicles of the Darkside: Keys to Fantasia:Part Three
" by fire_earth_aqua__77 Chapter 3: The Power to Destroy
"On a really technical basis," the gold draik explained, "you were all chosen ages ago, before you were born. We as fates deliver the news of destinies... And yours is to save us all. Fate, Faerie, and non-magical Neopet alike."
"SHE'S A CHILD SKYFOR!" Vitaqui shrieked.
"Vita you, uh... Know better than that." Skyfor muttered as he clammed up. He's smooth and savvy but no amount of that will make the grit of a sandpaper personality so it can't tear up a soft-hearted icon like he is in Qasala.
"Young lady I advise you to know your place." King Jazan hissed from the shadow of the entrance. It was well known King Jazan, with his knowledge on ancient and otherwise seemingly nonexistent magics, had taken a personal interest in this mission before anyone knew of the girl's involvement, possibly due to the fact one of the Gemstones had set up a sort of base in the Qasalan Palace, for which he granted his permission very publicly to the locals. |
