 | Water and MaractiteThe pencil wobbled as he tried to form letters. The sketchy lines barely met the paper, and they were hardly even readable. Vechia. If you squinted your head and turned it the right way, it sort of looked like his name.
by jrayeb3 | | WildsongNight in the Haunted Woods falls with swiftness upon its victims. It is not as many stories say—the forest is not rife with yowling spooks and ghoulish spectres at every turn. It is not a scaled-up version of a Neopia Central Neohome’s Halloween decorations, which brashly proclaim frightfulness in the most colourful of fashions.
by cosmicfire918 | | Lylin_Fire, The Fierce, Red WockyI had always wanted a special Neopet, but this was not what I wanted. A picky, rude, ungrateful pet that will refuse to eat or drink anything but bottled water. This all happened about a year ago, when I was putting water away in case there was a shortage.
by kittens4life6 | | The Sloth Gummy That Got AwayIt started out so pleasant. I was born in Virtupets Space Station– home of my creator, Franky. I lived for a short time in one of his most ingenious creations, the prestigious ‘Grundo Factory’.

Headlines "When Grandma Was Grey" by minkton Tammy loved when it rained. Her family stayed in. Her mama made Meaty Chia Soup. Her grandma told stories that made the day go by like a lightning bolt.
The baby Kougra watched heavy, grey clouds roll over the hills that bordered Neopia Central. She pressed her paws to the window of her family’s tidy Neohome and waited for the first droplets to collect on the panes before the downpour came. Thunder clapped in the distance, and she grinned.
“I should hurry to the market before the rain starts,” Tammy’s father called as he hurried out the door. “See you later, darlings.”
The baby Kougra rushed to her father’s feet to whine in protest. But before she could beg her father to stay, her mother rushed in front of her planted a quick peck on Tammy’s furry forehead.
“I’m right behind you, honey,” her mother chirped. “I promised to help at the Soup Kitchen, and I’ll be late if I wait for the storm to pass.”
She put her paw on Tammy’s cheek.
“We’ll be back before dinner, okay?”
The door slammed shut as thunder rolled closer to Tammy’s Neohome. The Kougra’s heart sank. Now who would play Smug Bug Board Game with her?
A lump grew in her throat as she returned to the window. It had just begun to drizzle.
