Holiday Gift Ideas From Neopia’s Most Notable Faeries

     Fyora, The Faerie Queen

     When asked Fyora said, “Oh well, of course, the best gift would be something nice from The Hidden Tower! We’ve got paint brushes, weapons, books, dolls, all of the highest quality!” When prompted for other options that may be slightly more budget-friendly, she responded, “Ah yes I had forgotten that perhaps some commoners may not have the Neopoints to do all of their holiday shopping with us… perhaps consider a lovely Fyora Hair Brush or a bottle of Fyoras Magic Hairspray for your beauty-conscious friends!”

     (Following this suggestion, I posed another question and I was promptly escorted out of the castle… Her Royal Highness did not take kindly to the implication that she was simply taking the opportunity to promote her own wares rather than suggesting practical gift ideas.)

     Jhudiah, The Island Faerie

     “A home-cooked meal! There is nothing quite like sitting down with your family and your chosen family and digging into something you specially made for them!”

     Who doesn’t love a special home cooked meal! Consider heading down to the Cooking Pot in Mystery Island to get Jhudiah’s assistance in cooking up something special.

     The Soup Faerie

     “Naturally, I believe the best gift you can make this holiday season is a donation to the Money Tree to help those in need! Please consider helping me keep the bellies of poor Neopians fed throughout this winter if you can spare the Neopoints!”

     Charitable donations in honour of your friends and family can certainly be a good gift for those who have everything. Even if you intend to buy something for everyone on your list, consider donating on behalf of your own Neofamily or perhaps spending some time volunteering with the Soup Faerie to feed those in need!

     The Library Faerie

     “The greatest gift is the gift of learning! Buy your Neopets some new books and expand their minds!” When prompted for some of her favourite books that might make good gifts, she said “Hm, I mean surely all books are good books but some of my favourites include Library Tales, Dreaming of a Floating Christmas, and of course the Faerie Crossword Book!”

     Taelia, The Snow Faerie

     “Hmm.. well if it were me I suppose I might want either a new coat or some more ice cream machine coupons. A coat to stay cosy and warm up here on Terror Mountain, and of course everyone enjoys treating themselves to ice cream!”

     If your gift recipient tends to be on the same wavelength as Taelia, I would suggest perhaps picking out a Taelia Style Coat for them, or, as she suggested, perhaps a Green, Blue, or Pink Ice Cream Machine Coupon to be used at the Ice Cream Cart in Happy Valley for a frosty treat!

     Kari, The Negg Faerie

     “Well obviously I think the best gifts would be delicious, nutritious neggs! A Christmas Tree Negg would be particularly festive, or perhaps something practical such as an Armoured Negg!”

     While not everyone may be as passionate about Neggs as Kari, there are Neggs with a wide variety of useful effects which might make great gifts for the Neopians in your life!

     Baelia, The Grey Faerie

     “Hmm… a gift idea? Well, I think everyone could probably use cheering up this year so… perhaps a good gift would be something like a Cheery Blossom or Bottled Holiday Cheer?”

     Naia, The Fountain Faerie

     “Oh my, well, unfortunately the Rainbow Fountain hasn’t enough magic available for every Neopet to have a dip but… perhaps a good gift might be a Flask of Rainbow Fountain Water! They are quite rare, but if you can find one, they’re quite nearly as powerful as the fountain itself!”

     Aethia, The Battle Faerie

     “The best gift for those you care about is the gift of self-defence! Give your companions weaponry such as a Barbat Throwing Star or a Battle Faerie Dagger!”

     Weapons certainly are a practical gift choice, and if your friends or Neopets enjoy battling in the Battledome, then a new weapon could be a beloved gift!

     Mira, The Space Faerie

     Apparently Mira heard rumour about this project as one day while I was working on the project, a holograph of her appeared before me to share her gift ideas! She said, “Neopian! Please share with your readers that I think the best gifts would be a useful Space Exploration Bot or the beautiful Galaxy Lipstick!”

     The Tooth Faerie

     Unfortunately, although I tried, I was unable to find the Tooth Faerie to get her gift ideas directly. She’s illusive that one, after all these years I still don’t have her avatar! If I had to guess though I’m sure she’d suggest some dental hygiene products such as Tooth Faerie Toothpaste or a Faerie Toothbrush - might make good stocking stuffers!

     Illusen, The Earth Faerie

     “Oh well I think perhaps the nicest thing you can give someone is a little something for their Neohome or garden that helps bring them closer to nature! Perhaps a lovely Illusens Orb Plant for the garden or a charming Potted Jungle Plant. What’s that? There are no longer Neohomes or gardens to decorate? Hmmm. I hope you’ll please excuse me, I need to make some calls…”

     A lovely new houseplant can make an excellent gift, and while not currently terribly useful… it would look lovely in your safety deposit box! In the meantime, there are also lots of lovely wearable plant objects for your Neopets, such as the Leafy Macrame Planter.

     Jhudora, The Dark Faerie

     Jhudora, admittedly, was not initially interested in contributing to this article. I was turned away about 17 times before she finally said, “If I answer your stupid question will you stop coming to bother me? Okay, fine… the best gift is something that furthers someone’s existing goals. Contribute to an ongoing project of theirs, and know that though you may be giving them something small, it means a lot to them as it brings them closer to project completion and taking over the— er, taking something off their to-do list.”

     Jhudora has given perhaps the most profound and useful suggestion of anyone here! Consider gifting your friends and family something to further an ongoing project of theirs, whether that is something to add to their gallery, codestones to help train their BD pet, or purchasing new books for your pet that dreams of achieving a Neopian Book Award. Knowing what their goals are and contributing to their completion will mean a lot to those you love!
